Apartment clean, comfortable and well equipped. Close location to the Main Square and Kazimierz. All staff at the city office very friendly, helpful and respectful. I would not hesitate to choose it again.

Friendly and warm reception at the city office. They explained the location of the appartment clearly. Great location of the appartment near the old town square in Krakow. It was clean with a lot of new IKEA stuff insite. Liked it !

I travel a huge amount in Europe and have come to expect the worse wherever I stay - downright lies in the apartment descriptions, building work in close proximity, shabby furniture, crummy locations and filthy bathrooms, but this is one of the only companies I have dealt with over the years that is honest, helpful and genuinely pulling out all the stops to give you a stress - free rental experience.

They employ a helpful driver called Artur, who meets and greets you at the airport and is friendly and competent - just what you need after being crammed in cattle class for the two hour flight from London. Artur is a careful and courteous driver, which comes as a huge surprise after using a different company last year who sent a young guy trying to be Schumaker.

The office staff are marvellous, two very pretty girls called Joanne who speak excellent English and make you feel as though you are a valued customer and old friend. The check-in is straightforward and painless, directions and instructions for your apartment are clear and comprehensive and the apartment was far in excess of expectations.

Congratulations to the Krakow team!

Boy were we surprised to walk into our apartment in Krakow. We only had one night to stay, had had an AWFUL journey into Krakow from London and were simply exhausted! Checked in at reception and were given simple walking directions to the apartment, which took us through the lovely main square and out again. We chose the place mainly on price and stepped into a stunning apartment with high ceilings, comfortable bed and separate living area. Thanks very much for improving our opinion of Krakow, Old Town Apartments!

Room Tip: Our apartment was on Dietla Road, can't recommend it enough!

All in all, my family and I were quite happy with our stay in Cracovia 5. Even though the building is located in a busy street with quite a bit of traffic we came to appreciate its strategic location right between the bustle of Krakow’s Old Town Center as well as Krakow’s Jewish district which is just around the corner. Traffic noise is not an issue as the apartment is located on the third floor of the building. There’s a guarded parking lot a short 7 minute walk away in the Jewish quarter which charges a very reasonable 3 Zloty per hour, or 20 Zloty per day. There are some shops nearby and the Jewish district in particular offers lots of choice for taking meals. The apartment itself was well equipped. The quality of the furniture is quite basic (Ikea through and through), but it’s functional, even if some pieces are already quite worn, such as the chairs and the sofa. There’s a TV but it only has Polish language channels. A few things to consider with this apartment are: 1) It gets hot in summer, due to its roof top location 2) You have to pay extra for accessing the WIFI, which is something I hadn’t been aware of based on what I had seen on the booking website 3) The curtains and roller blinds in ALL rooms are very thin and don’t block out the sunshine at all, meaning that the rooms are bright as daylight as soon as the sun comes up, which may or may not disturb your sleep.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for making an effort to share your opinion on our apartment. I am happy to hear you were satisfied with our service in general. I don't know when you were staying with us but I would like to make some explanations to some points you mentioned. First of all, there is a sattelite TV with english channels in the apartment so probably you did not notice the SAT tuner below the television. Also, there is A/C in the apartment so there is no problem with hot days. As for WiFi now it's free of charge in all our apartments. I would also like to mention that the apartment was repainted and redecorated last month so now it's really nice, comfortable and cozy.
Once more, thank you for your opinion - it's very important for us.
We are looking forward to your visit in Krakow one day.
Kind Regards,
Joanna Kobylecka

These apartments are great value for money, me and my friend paid about £60 a night for the Basil Apartment on Grodzka which is right of the main square in Krakow’s old town. The apartment was clean and modern, there was a full kitchen and even a washer – although the beds were a bit small. It’s a little inconvenient you have to walk a couple of streets over to the office to check in and collect your key but the location was fantastic. Everything was within walking distance – the train station, the square the castle and there is a 24 hour shop next door. If you’re looking for a central alternative to a hotel then this is a great option. One bad thing however was the building work next door, wasnt bad on the weekend but on the weekdays they started at 7am :(

Dear Guest,
I would like to thank you for your honest comment and at the same time apologise to you for all inconvenience you encountered during your stay. I can assure you that I already talked to the owner of the building next door about the builiding works and I really hope they will not disturb the comfort of our guests anymore.
I am also happy to read you enjoyed the apartment and its location.
I hope you will visit Krakow again and become our guest.

There is some confusion as to which company this review is about. Therefore, to clear this up from my perspective, I booked an apartment for three nights in Krakow. The address where I thought I had booked the apartment for was 4 Wislna. This is actually the address for the office. We did not know this at first and when we entered the door way we thought we had entered a rundown apartment block. Fortunately it was the office which was on the first floor. Note, if you arrive after business hours and you have to call someone to give you your keys, you accrue a 15Euro charge. The lady we dealt with was efficient, polite and spoke very good English. I had to leave credit card details and passport number in case of damage etc. We were then given a set of keys and directions to our apartment. The apartment was on the other side of the square at 11, Slowkowska. The directions were very simple and very good. READ all the instructions before you set off to find the apartment. Once again we entered the alleyway to get to the apartment. It was the same entrance as the sports bar. We opened the front door to the block of apartments and once again thought we had entered a war zone. The staircase and decor was very poor. It appears that they are refurbing rooms on the first floor and maybe the staircase will be upgraded after these modifications? After going to the front door of our apartment it was clear that some recent modernisation has taken place. We stayed at the 'Mars' apartment 10B. We opened the door which led to a small hallway with 10A. We then entered our apartment and what a wonderful surprise. It had been completely modernised. There were two bedrooms, both with double beds. One of the bedrooms was down a small 4 step staircase, which actually made a nice feature. There was a bathroom which had a shower cubicle, toilet and washing machine. The kitchen/lounge area had all the mod cons including halogen hob, small microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, cutlery, pans. There was also a small table with 5 chairs. The lounge consisted of a double bed sofa and TV with digital.
There was also a separate single toilet and a utility room which had an iron and board as well as it being a wardrobe.
It was very clean and spacious. For £210 for three nights for three people we thought it was good value for money. It was literally a 40 second walk to enter the square.

The only downsides that we could think of was that there was enough room in each bedroom to have a wardrobe. This would have negated the need to hang up clothing in the utility room in the kitchen area. We did not ask for the wireless, but I did not see any equipment for this and would have expected an extra charge. If the Sportsbar is open (some times till 4am) then you do get the beat of the music in the apartment as well as the people talking in the small courtyard below.
All in all the experience was excellent and the apartment was excellent value for money. The office staff we extremely helpful and they allow you to leave luggage in their office if you are not departing until later on the day you vacate the accommodation.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your honest review. It is nice to hear you eventually enjoyed your stay in the apartment and you are satisfied with our service despite of initial bad impression. I would like to explain a few things you mentioned. First, there is a free wi-fi internet connection in all our apartments. The wifi device is hidden in a different room so you therefore you could not find it. But you can always ask our staff about the password. As for the wardrobes, in future we will try to furnish each room with a one - thank you for the suggestion. We will talk to the owner of the pub about the noises - this should not happen at all. Please accept our apology for inconvenience.
Once more, thank you for your comments. They help us to improve the quality of our service.

Kind Regards,
Joanna Kobylecka
