“AccorHotels in the Masurian Lake District”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

Visiting the Masurian Lake District and using AccorHotels membership, you will surely select the Mercure Mragowo Resort&Spa hotel. Lake Czos is fairly large surrounded by several trails. From this location it's easy to get to a rental station for canoe or kayak hire. Just opposite the hotel at the lake side is a nice restaurant called "Bei Sigi" serving fresh fish and other specialties.

First off... I went in the winter time (December) so I assume that the hotel and surrounding area have more to offer in the summer. There was not to see or do when the lakes are frozen over and the city isn't full of people.

The hotel food was alright, we had food included and although there was a good selection it repeated pretty much the same everyday so if you stay longer than a few days, you might want to explore the restaurants in town instead (again, if its warm out).

The spa was fine too but without a package deal, very expensive for Poland prices. The also had a nice pool, hot tub outside, bowling alley and more stuff. You literally could spend a few days just enjoying the hotel and nothing more which is what we did.

Overall fine, but I can't stress enough that this is a place to stay when its warm otherwise, the hotel is all you have and you could get bored after 3 days time.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the back of the hotel!

Some of the staff were efficient and friendly but most of them were not. The temperature was 25 Celsious and the hotel had no A/C plus one could not open the doors to the balconies because of the mosquitoes; when asked for a floor fan, they did not have them. It is a place for families with lots of kids, very noisy, and the food was adequate. This property should be downgraded to 2 stars.

Great for families. Friendly staff. Fantastic food. Attractions for children - they are never bored. We go there every winter - Sylwester. My children wait for this time whole year.
disadvantages: only 2 meals a day in the price - by 11am and after 6pm. You can eat dinner in the restaurant (it's expensive for average family) or you can go to the city center.
If you want to go there at the beginning of January book ealier because the hotel is full of guests from Russia

The place has been reviewed by me few times before so this time I will keep it to minimum.

It still has an unique athmosphere of a good resort no matter if you visit this in winter or summer time.
They usually have nice package offers both for business and family visitors.

A perfect place to rest from your everyday duties, with a good service and nice package of attractions.

Still to be improved :
1. Swimmig pool water temparature.
2. Two separate saunas : male and female.
3. No drinking water in a room ( used to be offered )

What has improved since last stay - wifi accessable at the whole hotel area.

Please have in mind large groups in Dec/Jan time due to seasonal offers ( including Russian groups for Jan Christmas ) which makes check in / out longer than usual.

Room Tip: Families with kids usually located at ground floors.
