I stayed at this hotel last week for 2 night during a business trip. The hotel offers good service and has an excellent location right next to the old town. I requested a room overlooking the river. This might not be a good option for everyone. On the one hand I had a beautiful view of the city and the Mlotava river, on the other hand my widows overlooked on of Gdansk's main roads and it did get quite noisy early in the morning. This did not bother me too much as I had to get up early for work, but if are considering this hotel for sightseeing reasons, or just to relax, you definitely should ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The breakfast was superb. There was plenty to choose from, the cheese selection especially. One drawback was that the 'hot' dishes were not actually hot at all (egg, sausages etc.). The room was clean and equipped in everything I needed, except an electric kettle. I mentioned the kettle since price of cup of tea is 14 pln which is ridiculously expensive!!! Not to worry, you can skip diner at the hotel and go for a nice cup of tea/ coffee to the old town, which is right around the corner.
