“Good service, great location, bit expensive though.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

I stayed at this hotel last week for 2 night during a business trip. The hotel offers good service and has an excellent location right next to the old town. I requested a room overlooking the river. This might not be a good option for everyone. On the one hand I had a beautiful view of the city and the Mlotava river, on the other hand my widows overlooked on of Gdansk's main roads and it did get quite noisy early in the morning. This did not bother me too much as I had to get up early for work, but if are considering this hotel for sightseeing reasons, or just to relax, you definitely should ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The breakfast was superb. There was plenty to choose from, the cheese selection especially. One drawback was that the 'hot' dishes were not actually hot at all (egg, sausages etc.). The room was clean and equipped in everything I needed, except an electric kettle. I mentioned the kettle since price of cup of tea is 14 pln which is ridiculously expensive!!! Not to worry, you can skip diner at the hotel and go for a nice cup of tea/ coffee to the old town, which is right around the corner.

Room Tip: choose a room at the back of the hotel, definitely as far away from the road running next to the hot...

Excellent choice a few minutes from the old town. Do t worry about the underpass it's perfectly safe and not scary at all.
Rooms were nice and modern and a bargain by European standards.
Staff were all really nice. Sauna was good and empty.
No issues from us.

Recommended hotel with very spacious and modern rooms. Great location in close proximity to the centre and main sights. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and would definitely consider staying here again if deciding to visit this lovely little city again.

The location is very nice and the rooms are very good too. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and very fresh. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I had dinner at the restaurant and this was very good too.
I recommend this hotel to anyone.
Thank you to the staff and management.

Good Hotel; spacious, clean and modern rooms; very good breakfast. only complaint the noisy busy road. They offer a boat trip which was nice and a different way to see the town.To go from and to the center you have to go through a tunnel, not ideal at night but we had no problems.

Room Tip: Ask high floor to be away from noisy road.

Great facilities which include a business room (printing facilities etc) free wifi, sauna and a gym which is fairly small but isn't too badly equipped. friendly reception staff who were happy to help with any information regarding points of interest nearby. I personally stayed in a double room wich had a large built in storage area that didn't intrude into the room and the bathroom was of a large size with a decent bath. The restaurant has a varied menu and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was varied with something for every taste. The location is only around a 5minute walk from the old town but unfortunately the walk is under the busy road through an underpass, I can understand why this would be intimidating and daunting at night time as there are a few exit stairways which are hidden away until approached and it is covered in graffiti... Although when I passed through at both night time and day time I never noticed any rubbish or signs of suspicious behaviour.

Room Tip: I personally stayed in a room that had a view onto the river, the view was very nice but I wasn'...

Excellent choice in Gdansk. Clean, modern and comfortable rooms, great breakfest and restaurant, very friendly staff. Walking distance from the city center (5-10min). The only problem is you have to cross a dodgy tunnel to reach the historical center, which, being a woman, I would be scared to do alone, especially at night. I didn't see anything suspicious, but it was a bit weird. During the day the hotel offers a boat service to the center.
