“Small Museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

Small museum but worth a visit for the £1...odd entry free! Its situate about 10 mins walk form the old town up on the main road near Madison shopping centre. A lot of the letters etc on show were obviously in polish but most of the exhibits in general were also in English and the film shown had english sub titles, you can get around in maybe an hour or so

“Short review of Solidarity exhibition”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

"European Solidarity Center Roads to Freedom Exhibition" is an exhibition that describes and interprets the period of Poland's and Europe's transition-phase before and after the breaking-point of the foundation of Solidarity. The exhibition is top of the line regarding pictures, movies and texts.

“The value of freedom”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

This museum shows to what length people will go in order to get their freedom. It shows a world of oppression that our kids have no knowledge of. Impressive to see the dedication and selflessness of the activists. It is a must see

“A great museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

Excellent way to learn about the recent history of Poland (and Europe). Lots of images, videos and real documents support a good and honest re-creation of settings and situations from the last decades. Not to be missed.

“Understanding history and lessons learned”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

Spent three days in Gdansk. Brilliant and worth a visit, plenty to do and see. Freedom exhibition was very good and informative. Westaplatte is steeped in history and was where world war 2 started. Plenty to keep you occupied in Gdansk and highly reccomend it
