“nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2012

Homey place decorated with old objects. Very good service, reasonable. We had the garlic soup, I had dinosaur steak, wife had iced coffee with whipped cream, all very good. If you can read Czech you can order even cheaper off the daily menu. Correct name is U And[e with a hacek]la, it means at the angel. Back deck overlooks park. Map provided by InfoCentrum shows the street somewhat incorrectly, use google or mapy.cz instead.

“Lunch with an antique touch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2012

We caught one of the last tables for Sunday lunch, and loved the atmosphere. Our table was distractingly right by a typewriter where apparently the paper was fed through the bottom so you couldn't see what you were typing! Beer was well served, and the food was good hearty Czech fare but not too heavy.

“Found by Chance, amazing grub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2011

This resteraunt is situated out of the way in a by way in Olomouc, it wasn't busy, but was excellent.

I had the meatball soup for starter, the soup itself was very thin with cabages but rather tasty, in this there was really proper meatballs!

I followed that with the 4 meat twister which is chicken, beef, lamb and pork twisted together. Amazing

With both of them amazing how could I forgoe desert? Of coure not, I can't remember what they called it but it was essentially a banana split, amazing ice cream and cream on a banana just at perfect ripeness.

If you are in Olomouc give this place a shot.

“Dainty Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2011

Restaurant is tastefully furnished with various antiques. English menu available, so tourists don't have to fret. The menu is interesting, with names such as "Menu for Popeye the Sailor" and "Dinosaur steak" (recalled from memory). Food is generally good and hearty. Recommend the Peasant Garlic Soup, which is wonderful on a cold day. It has a balcony where you can dine outdoors. However, the restaurant is oddly located and requires some walking.
