My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights last week and I am VERY disappointed. This is definitely NOT a four stay hotel.
The reception looked as you would expect it – clean, friendly staff, and nice bar but it goes all downhill from the minute you enter the tiny cramped elevator.
It’s a very large hotel and we stayed on the 12th floor but the décor is extremely dated. We checked in on 29 December and breakfast was included, however, we were told that there were only a few other people staying in the hotel at the time so breakfast would be served at the bar area until the weekend when more guests arrive. Not to our surprise the next morning, breakfast consisted of stale bread rolls, cold hard boiled eggs and stale cereal. There were also lots of cold meats. I couldn’t eat anything that was on offer and asked the staff if they could provide at least a couple scrambled eggs to which they obliged. It was all I ended up having that morning.
The room had the basics and was clean and tidy. With regards the television, there was only one English channel – CNN! Which was another disappointment.
On the plus side, Wi-Fi was excellent and the staff was always professional and friendly. Without the staff I would have rated it two stars.
Given my experience, and at over £100 per night I would not be staying here again.

I am sorry to hear about your negativ experience. Christmas time is the only time when we close the large breakfast restaurant. The choice seems to be maybe smaller but there is a special menu with hot meals and they are prepared fresh and nicely by the chef as soon as you order.
We really have only few guests staying with us during this time of the year.
Our rooms on the 12th floor have been designed by architect Musil. He used the materials of the best quality (for example veneer is the same as in famous villa Tugendhat in Brno) but I do understand that this is a matter of taste of each of us.
I am very pleased that our staff was nice and helpful and I do appreciate your comments.
