“Great Menu, Great Service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

We walked in a few minuets past 11PM and asked if the kitchen was still open. The bar tender sat us and gave us menus and said he would see if the cook would do one more meal and he did! I was getting sick of sausage and goulash so I had a quesadilla which was very good. We had just been turned away from three or four other restaurants and were on the way to McDonalds when we found this place and were very grateful they stayed opened for us, plus the food was very tasty.

“best live jazz in Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

Went there already couple times saw some jazz and blues bands... Only minus is the place is quite small you def need a booking but it offers you really awesome atmosphere, sound is pretty good too. Live jazz and blues bands is first class selection too... Great place for a date or bigger group too... Didnt like the service sometimes, especially if you are a foreigner sometimes you get this look but just try ignoring and enjoy the amazingmusic and atmosphere of the club

“The Wonderful U Maleho Glena - Best bar, jazz club & accommodation in Prague - Don't tell everyone about this hidden gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

My fourth visit to these wonderful apartments. Basic but huge & well equipped with everything you could possibly need (no TV though but who needs a TV when you've got Prague to discover). The location, just across the Charles Bridge in the Lesser Town, is perfect... away from the hustle & bustle but just a short stroll across the beautiful bridge to the old town square. The staff downstairs are extremely helpful (especially the young gentleman who checked us in - didn't catch your name sorry). The bar itself serves great food, is open late, a fantastic atmosphere & cheap! On the Friday evening we popped downstairs to listen to some jazz... something I wasn't really looking forward to (Jazz is my boyfriends cup of tea not mine). However, the act that evening, Marcel Flemr Blues/Funk Band were quite simply outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Again the atmosphere in this tiny little cellar club was amazing. Don't forget to check this bar/club out when you are in Prague but don't tell everyone about the apartments so I can get in next year :-) Thank you to all at the U Maleho Glena for another wonderful trip.
