“The Best 5 Star Little Boutique Hotel Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2011

My husband and I stayed at this little boutique hotel for three nights and loved everything about it. The staff was friendly, helpful and always cheerful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Even the air conditioner was set to a perfect comfortable temperature.
Most impressive was the breakfast buffet. The food was fantastic, good variety.. We were also presented with a menu of special order items in addition to the buffet items. The breakfast room was very elegantly set up with covered tablecloths. The servers were very well dressed and paid a great deal of attention to service. Very pleasant experience just having breakfast here.
In terms of service, this hotel cannot be beat. They were always a step ahead of what you want. In our minds, their personal friendly service far beat the big 5 star hotels anyday.
This will be our hotel whenever we come to Prague again.

the hotel really has a nice atmosphere. the employees are very helpful and they make you feel like you are really staying at a 5 star hotel. the neighbourhood of the hotel, Andel, is also a nice place with quite a good number of options for food and shopping. The only downside is that the hotel is around 25-30 minutes walk to the oldcity center. The walking route is a different matter as it is located just beside the river and wonderful scenery accompanies you. The Andel metro station is a 3 minutes walk away so you can get to the oldcity center in 10 minutes with the metro or tram. Breakfast quality is good, besides what is served in the open buffet you can also order omlettes- pancakes for free which is a plus. As a summary we were quite satisfied with the room and service.

This 20 room hotel provides excellent service and makes you feel a little special in a city that is overcrowded with tourists. Especially the breakfast was something special and is not to be missed. The hotel is a litlle out of the centre which we liked. One drawback is that it is very close to the Staropramen brewery - but the smell of beer brewing does not hit the rooms.

Enjoyed this hotel and recommend as a place to stay. Very good breakfast every day with hot dishes prepared to request as well as cereals, fruits and various breads and rolls. Numerous reasonable restaurants nearby on the main street about 2 blocks away as well as a large mall with a British chain supermarket so you can buy pretty much anything you want.
Walking in Prague is very tiring due to the uneven streets - all cobblestones. The hotel is a reasonably long walk from the main historic square and the castle so wear shoes with firm rubber soles rather than soft ones.

having once worked at one of the world's landmark hotels, it is difficult to travel without always taking measure of location, service and accomodation, and that said, I cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel, since it surpassed expectations on every level. the staff was so attentive, we felt like the only guests. from the start when our train from Budapest delayed our arrival by hours and left us at a different train station, the hotel secured a cheerful driver who found our train a was waiting for us on the platform, and also gave us a mini tour of his city on the way to the hotel. the hotel accomodations and breakfast were exceptional. we were even given a laptop to use during our stay. the location proved to be perfect since we were able to leave the crowds and noise of the city center behind with a 5 min tram ride. Prague was the highlight of our 5 city trip in no small part to the wonderful hospitality of this hotel. I can also highly recommend our tour guide, Dana Chaloupka who wonderfully managed our small group (20, 51 and 82 yrs) over two days to make sure we saw the sights, learned about her city, took a break for sunday mass and ate very well. having decided to add a visit to this city on a whim, we all agreed it was the best part of our amazing european tour.

Room Tip: nice quiet area, view irrelevant
