“Gipsies”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Dirty quarter, full of homeless people and gipsies. Better avoid this part of town, especially at night

“A nice neighbourhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

Only a few tram stops from Wenceslas Square and a neighbourhood, not a tourist trap.
Jan Zizka, Europe's biggest equestrian monument, lords it over scores of cheap bars and restaurants.
Go there !

“The hidden gems are inside.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

We visited this monument at the beginning of July, when the weather was extremely hot. Walking up the hill from the military museum was a bit different, but once at the top, the views are exceptional. Outside, the area could do with a bit of a facelift, with stone stairs that move. Inside is another experience.
The tomb of the unknown soldier is located here and is a special place. Also inside is a cylindrical tube containing soil from every conflict from WW1 that the Czech military has taken part in.
There is a little graffiti around in the suburb below, but not too bad, and it's fairly clean.

“Good park for jogging and roller-skating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2012

I was staying in Prague during Eastern 2012 and looking for a nice park for jogging. Zizkov park proved to be one of the nice parks both for jogging and especially for roller-skating with the paved roads mostly in quite good condition. The views especially from above are nice, and you can enjoy quiet atmosphere with less traffic noise especially on mornings.
