We were staying at the Hotel Intercontinental in Prague, during our four day stay we found this property to be excellent in terms of the room, service and ambiance. We decided to try the rooftop restaurant one evening. Unfortunately, we were disappointed.
The food was average and in small portions; the service was also slow and unexceptional, the price was high, considering what we had ordered and was the highest price we paid for a meal, including our subsequent stay in Paris. The only positive thing that we can say about our experience is that the restaurant had an excellent view of the skyline of Prague; however, we could have seen this vista merely by going up there for a drink. We guess that the word must have previously gotten around, because with the exception of another couple and a single diner, we were the only ones in the restaurant at 7:30 PM.
