Food ensemble gets 4.5 stars for me.
Price is upper than normal pricelevel but not bad for finnish traveller.

“Special Occasion Celebrations in a Cave!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

This place is one of the top 10 places to eat in Prague and with good reason. I was entertaining business clients with one individual celebrating their birthday. A beautiful birthday cake and spectacular "candle" was the highlight of this traditional Czech menu. The staff and service was 5 star! A must for any visitior to Prague!!!!

“Amazing dining experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

What a fantastic and unusual dining experience, reasonable prices to for a great restaraunt in a great location, It can only be described as the inside of a cave with stalactites hung down,The service and atmosphere were great, We had two starters two main course a large beer and a wine for £40. I would advise to book a table to avoid disapointment and to get the time you want to eat.

“Extremely rude manager! Such a shame we didn't even stay to eat, he looked down his nose at the customers and was very patronisi”

Wouldn't return unless this restaurant was under new management! Which is a shame because we are returning to Prague later this year.

“So rude we didn't even stay to eat.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

I cannot vouch for the quality of the food because we didn't get that far because we were treated so badly by the manager. We arrived without a reservation but we were told that a table was available so we happily accepted. The surroundings are lovely but there was zero atmosphere and as soon as we were sat down we were urged to have an aperitif which were reeled off at quick speed without a breath in between to even figure out what was on offer. We asked to see the menu instead and forgo an aperitif which was met with a frown and we had less than 2 minutes to look at the menu before he returned to take our order. As we hadn't yet decided I asked if we could have 2 minutes more to which he responded sarcastically with eyebrows raised, '2 minutes?! 3 minutes?!' It felt as though because we didn't have a reservation we were being rushed out of the door and they didn't really want us to be there. So we asked for our coats and left because we felt very uncomfortable and as though we weren't good enough to eat there. We went to a fab restaurant called U Zlate konvice instead which was equally expensive but had an amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and a much wider menu selection.
