“Excellent lunch on a summer's day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

Lovely warm summer's day in Prague. The restaurant is located in a secluded court yard just metres from the busy streets but it was an oasis. Extensive menu. Good food and good service. When complimenting the chef on the great food, his reply was "I know"! Would definitely eat there again.

“Expensive by Prague standards but good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

It may cost double what you can pay elsewhere but still worth it, especially if you are going in summer because the outside space is beautiful . Seafood and the pasta are both excellent, service is friendly if a little inattentive , largely due to how busy it can be . If you want to go to an impressive, high class place and don't mind paying for it, I recommend it. Don't do Czech beer though which is a bit odd....

“Shocking experience !!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

For the first time ever, in any restaurant, anywhere on my travels.....I was charged and forced to pay for a jug of tap water !!!! The service was disinterested and inattentive, the food very average.

A party of three, having purchased two beers, two bottles of sparkling water, eaten starters, fairly average pasta meals with coffees to finish, was presented with a bill for CZK 2200 (about US$110) which included CZK75 (almost US$ 4 for the water). My protestations were greeted with only shrugged shoulders from the waiter with a comment that "it is the owners decision" without any apology or understanding. I will never go there again !!!

Over-priced and unfriendly. Be warned !!!

“Best Italian food in Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

Food was so good we went twice. We stayed in Prague for a week and ate at restaurants every night. We thought the food was amongst the best Italian food we've ever had. My wife in particular thought that the seafood grill of octopus, squid and shrimp was divine. My mushroom pasta was quite wonderful.
They didn't seem to have separate rooms for smoking and non-smoking so if that's important, be aware the the "non-smoking" section may not be smoke free.

“Very enjoyable meal & great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

We chose this restaurant because of the proximity to our hotel and recommendations we've seen on-line. Service was excellent and food was very enjoyable. Server provided good advice on the amount that we were ordering, pointing out that their portions are large and we might be over-ordering. Shared a caesar salad with chicken; hubby had minestrone soup (1/2 portion, based on server's guidance); I had the sea bass with potatoes & chard -- very tasty and huge portion; hubby had the veal medallions in lemon sauce -- very tender and large portion. We were celebrating a special birthday -- shared a yummy chocolate soufflé.
