My wife found this place by chance and we decided to go on a rainy day. We did not expect much as we have the impression that any hole in the wall in Prague need 5 things or more, that are somewhat related, to call itself a museum. However, we were amazed by not only the amazing collection of artifacts that the Lobkowicz family has put on display, but also their warm and fascinating story about it all that guided us through the mansion. Although we got to see amazing portraits, Mozart and Beethovens original scipts, grand collections and works of historical importants, these items seemed to merely serve the purpose of peripheral detailes that to the Lobkowicz. Instead, the exhibition took on a story about a family, their hardships and how they found back to their roots. This experience was as much impressive and beautiful as it was humbling.
