Myself and my Mum booked a girly weekend at the majestic Plaza based on several other reviews we read on Tripadvisor. About a month before we were due to come my sister decided she wanted in on the action, so we fired off an email to the hotel asking to upgrade to a triple room which they were happy to do with no hassle. The room we had was ideal, loads of space as there was a living area in addition to the actual bedroom, and the bathroom was huge and nicely equipped. Air-conditioning also came in very handy. Hotel staff were always friendly and very helpful, printing our boarding passes for us when we checked in for our return flight online, and with other requests for local info (e.g. directions to attractions / ATM's etc). Hotel is just around the corner from Wenceslas Square so a pretty good starting point for wandering between the various landmarks and places to eat in the evening, but far enough away from raucous stag parties to get some peace. Overall a really great hotel, would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

A lovely looking hotel, inside, the renovations really give it a touch of class. Fortunately as long as you are spending money within the staff go the extra mile to accommodate. However if you have your phone stolen, even from within the hotel its self in the cocktail bar down stairs, you may find everyone is suddenly very busy, deliberatly missleading, and limited english is spoken. We were not at all happy at our very offhand treatment, even with the limited customer services afterwards. The room was lovely but the bed was so big you could'nt get round it easily and it was a bit of a squeeze when sitting on the on-suite toilet! On the whole not good value for money and we would opt for a hotel in the old town when we go again.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Best western, Prague in March, the location of this hotel was just great. Walk straight down the street and you're on Wencelais Square. We got our hotel on Lastminute.co.uk for a great rate that included breakfast. There is a cocktail bar in the basement of the hotel, and they still smoke in the bars in Prague. The bar was lively on the Friday night, but quiet on the Saturday!! The breakfast was quite good, cereal, yogurts, pasteries, eggs, bacon and sausages, and some fruit juices. It kept us going til lunch.
I was surprised by the amount of high street shops, which were so much cheaper than at home. We were also lucky at the time we went, because they had an Easter festival on, with loads of markets all around the city centre. We spent hours just browsing, eating and drinking. We really enjoyed Prague and the location of this hotel was great, well recommended.

The hotel is very well located, although it does lack a bit of character. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our overall experience during a three day stay was positive.
