“Very good value. Clean, conveinient and Warm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Stayed here for 6 Nights as a couple.

Yes the hotel is nowhere near the centre (20 minutes on bus then metro)- But if you research the location of a hotel before you book then you won't have that problem! So yeah if you're a tourist then the location probably isn't great. But there's no way you could get a 4 star hotel in the city centre for this price.

Price wise- I ended up paying £26 a night for bed a breakfast- Best price i found was on www.Cheapoair.co.uk (It's also worth searching for some voucher codes for extra money off on this website!!)

The room was very spacious and met my expectations, Bathroom with bath, shower and sink (also a hairdryer) then seperate toliet room. Big double wardrobe with a safe. Mini bar, TV, free wifi.
Comfortable beds and rooms cleaned daily!
There are a few reviews on here that have commented on staff having a poor level of English. I disagree with this, they have enough concept of the language to communicate efficiently. And their English is a much better than my Czech!!
I also don't understnad people that go abroad and complain when the staff cannot speak English and then call the staff lazy! I think we are the lazy ones, we expect everyone to make the effort.

Only went to breakfast on one occasion and was satisfactory. All the normal hot drinks, fruit juices and cereals as well as self service hot food.
The restaurant in the evening had a pretty limited menu but was adequate and the food was well presented and a fair price.

Room Tip: I had a room at the back of the hotel. From there you have views of the carpark and on from there th...

I chose this hotel because it was close to where I had to attend a meeting. Apart from this (and the availability of parking facility for travellers with their car), it is hard to find an advantage against choosing other hotels in the same price range in the very center of the city. It takes a good 20-30 min (depending on where you go) by bus and metro. Breakfast was also disappointing, with many overcooked dishes that were seemingly left unutilized from day to day. Coffee, milk (!) and cocoa were of low quality. My bed was also soft in its center and I could not keep my back straight during sleep. Staff at reception was helpful by any other means.

Emmy Rezidence is on the outskirts of Prague. To get to the city centre you need to take a bus and an underground train so if you are planning to do some sightseeing on your own, keep this in mind.

It is advertised as 4 star but is more of a 3 star hotel. I got the impression that standards here are not as high as they are in Austria or Germany. Whilst the rooms are clean, relatively spacious and well lit, the hotel has no balconies or spectacular views.

You can only watch about 10 television stations of which only one is in English.

There are no salads at breakfast even though there's plenty of fried food especially sausages. When the hotel is full, finding a table for breakfast can be quite tricky especially if you form part of a large group.

Telephone rates are expensive but there is a wi-fi connection which anybody can use.

The area is renowned for hospitals. There are plenty of them in the vicinity if you need medical treatment. You should also hear an occasional siren as a reminder.

The staff struggles with English (like all the people of this nation). Smiles are even harder to come by... but anyway - all in all it's not a bad hotel; you're not going to remember it for anything particularly negative. If however you have high expectations you might need to think twice about it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the forest not the main road.

This hotel is good - spacious rooms, clean, big bathroom. What I found not so good was wi-fi connection, it was free, but quality of signal was very bad. TV programs only few. Staff on reception helpfull. Breakfast is avarage. Positive is parking free. I think that this hotel is very good 3star hotel, but 4star .... it should be little bit more. In Prague is this hotel good possibility to sleep 2-3 nights for good price.

After reading a lot of comments i decided to book it, and didnt regret.

We were 3 couples, and it was a bit above expectations.

Very easy to find, GPS working properly in this area. Hotel was under contructions when we staying there, but for 5 days, I think I saw those guys once maybe. I saw some people were writting it was too loud. We didnt have any problem with that. Room is very, very clean, exactly what you can see on the photos.

Breakfast is quite good. coffee is a bit bad, but all over Tschechien is a bit strange.or actually not so strong as i m used in it...

Hotel is aprox. 20 min from the center, there's bus station few meters from there, but you will need to use metro also to get into the center. Taxi costs aprox 20 eur...Bus tickets for one way is 25 Kronen or 1 eur. whole day ticket is 4-5 eur.

depending on what one reads ,the star rating varies so i'll settle for 3.5 stars.i did not book this hotel but was sent here by the hotel that i did book!rooms great, staff good<english was still a problem>breakfast average.lots of coach parties staying 2/3 nights. inexplicably the bar closes at 10pm.a european first for me!make that a world first!even after 20+years the 'communist' ideals seem to linger.reasonable connections to town.bus then metro, taking about 30 mins.a good restaurant /bar 300m away in delightful forest setting.cheap too!

Even though the reviews about this hotel are not the best, I personally liked the hotel. The rooms are large, there is a lot of light in the rooms. There were no problems with water. The breakfast was better on the first day of our stay than on the second but still it was a good breakfast. You will not be hungry after it. The reception staff was helpful. They explained how to get to the city center, so we didn't get lost. The bus station is 100 meters to the right from the hotel. The bus takes you to the underground station. 15 minutes and you are in the center of Prague. The bus tickets can be bought in the hotel.
The parking near the hotel is free. Internet is available in the rooms and in the lobby. It is free.
It is not a 5 star luxury hotel but it can satisfy your needs if you are staying there for 3 or 4 nights and spend most of the day in Prague.
