“All round, great hostel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

We (2 of us) stayed in a 4 person room for 3 nights at the Czech Inn and had a really great time. The room was very clean, wifi worked great, and there was a sink in the room which was very convenient. Our room mates was incredibly nice as well - ended up catching a few meals/drinks with him. The hostel seems pretty big, but still had a small, friendly feel to it. The staff were great - friendly and helpful when we had questions!

Washrooms were clean and very modern looking. Showers felt like luxury hotel showers and we didn't ever have to wait. (Tip: There was an extra shower in the hallway. You get a lot more space for your shower stuff and a sink if you need it.)

*Hostel is bit further from city center, but well worth it. The area doesn't feel touristy and crowded which we enjoyed. There is a bus stop right in front of the hostel so getting around isn't an issue.

*Grabbed a drink in the downstairs bar - nice place to go for a drink before going out or after dinner.

I stayed at this Hostel as part of a recent euro trip. The Hotel is in a nice old building on the number 22 bus/tram route. Inside the decor is ultra modern and kept very clean. The dorms are comfortable with a locker and basin in the room. I shared in a 6 person mixed dorm. Several showers and toilets on each floor which are kept clean. Breakfast (at an extra cost) is served in the bar area in the basement. Good atmosphere in the bar and great value beer! Staff very friendly and helpful. Laundry and secure room also available.

We stayed in this hostel whilst interrailing round Europe and it was soo nice to have a really good shower and a sink in the room. The rooms were clean and a decent size and the breakfast (at additional cost) was delicious. The hotel was a long walk or a tram ride from the city centre but it wasn't expensive to get around. My only problem with this hostel was that there wasn't such an obvious social area as there was in other hostels, even though they did organise bar crawls running from the hostel so this wasn't a huge issue.

This hostel was among the best that I have ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was generous and had quite a few different options but the best feature of this place by far is the level of cleanliness and how updated it is, its more akin to a hotel rather than an actual hostel in the usual sense. The rooms are large and clean and you can only access the specific floor on which your staying which is nice because you know that there's an added level of security for you and your things. The hostel is a little far from the center of town but its right on one of the main bus lines and only a 5-10 minute ride from the city center which makes it easy to access the old town and castle as well as a plethora of wonderful restaurants and the clubs along the river if that's what your looking for.

Room Tip: There is usually space available but the sooner

Czech Inn Hostel it's my idea of great hostel - modest, but comfortable and clean rooms, bar next to the reception desk, when you can relax after sightseeing and nice, friendly staff. The only disadvantage was problem with parking. Anyway I would recommend this hostel to everybody!

This hostel could be called a hotel, the service was friendly, the rooms & the showers were clean & the beds were comfortable. What a great place to base when visiting prague....
Although location seems to be a problem in other reviews, we found easy access to metro, trams & buses not to mention a easy walk to the old town

If you are looking for a full on party experience in Prague I would suggest going elsewhere. Otherwise this should be your port of call

This hotel is right on the bus line so transportation access is excellent. Easy to travel into Prague, but away from the downtown area. Staff was courteous. Good breakfast, lots of options including make your own crepes.
