“A real find in the Heart of Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

My daughter and I were fortunate to choose to stay in The Red Chair Hotel in the Old Town of Prague. From our first email I felt we were in good hands. Despite delayed emergence through Passport control late in the evening, Premysl, the airport transport driver, was patiently waiting to welcome me warmly and gave a fascinating account of Pragues history and its relevance today during the drive despite the flooding. The hotel being so central, we were able to explore this beautiful historic city on foot, always pleased to return to our comfortable, clean and quiet rooms to relax. The staff were exceedingly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection over a period of four hours which may explain why the coffee was nothing to write home about. So we made full use of the selection of drinks in the delightful cafe next door. We definitely plan to return to The Red Chair to explore so much that we hadn't time to do and would highly recommend staying there.

Room Tip: Our room overlooking the courtyard was quiet.

We stayed in Prague for 4 days and had a wonderful time at the Red Chair Hotel, which has a perfect location and is staffed by an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable group. Our room was very clean and comfortable and next to the Choco cafe with endless delicious chocolate options. We especially appreciated the help of the airport pickup/dropoff driver, Premysl, who included an impromptu tour with fascinating details about Prague's history and architecture. We highly recommend the Red Chair!

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor room, which was very spacious with four beds and a large bathroom. As a h...

A friend and I had the good fortune to stay at the Red Chair in May 2013 It is the perfect place to stay in Prague It is centrally located in the Old Town The rooms are comfortable clean and quiet which gave us the opportunity to recover from our long flight from Australia
The breakfast was also generous and had a great selection
The staff were incredibly attentive I had excellent service from my first email They organised transfers from the airport and gave us good directions. Nothing was too much trouble I would highly recommend staying here to enjoy this beautiful city

This hotel is in a great situation for visiting by foot the whole city. it's calm and very clean. The breakfast buffet is very good.
The pick-up from aerport to the hotel is very pleasant and the driver really kind and helpful. People are very kind and disposable. in fact, they are the kinder people we met in Praha! Often in the shop or restaurant the people were really unpleasant!!
The only "problem" is when a lot of people go to the breakfast at the same time....place is not enough but the rolls are so good so...we forget quite quickly!!

It was my first time in Prague and I loved it! This little hotel made my stay really special as the staff was very attentative and helped me get around the city centre - which is by the way just outside the hotel door! So I didn't get lost once! My room was very nice and cosy and I will be definitely staying there again next time I'm in Prague!

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were private and secure, with an adequate breakfast. But what makes this hotel stand out more than any other we have ever stayed at was the extraordinary customer service. We had a situation occur while we were staying in Prague that required us to make several phone calls back to the US and leave one day early. The hotel allowed us to use their phone free of charge, check out that afternoon, and even though we didn't check out until after 2 pm, the hotel did not charge us for that final night we were supposed to (but could not) stay. They searched the internet and gave us directions to the police station, and continued to assist us the entire time. Would recommend this hotel to everybody staying in Prague! You just can't beat the quality of service!
