“A great place in the centre of Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2011

We have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in December. We were looking for a bigger place as we were 5 adults and 1 baby and Appia residence was a fantastic value as we have booked an appartment with two bedrooms, one sofa bed in the living room. The hotel itself is very romantic and really really nice as it is a historical building situated just below the Prague castle. The appartment was very spacious, with two bathrooms and very quiet. It was a great stay for our family and the in-laws. The breakfast which was included was in a different part of the hotel, in an old attic, which was very romantic. The staff was very helpful and nothing was a problem (extra blanket, call a cab, baby chair for our daughter...) The appartment had a little kitchenette with tea/coffee provided, which was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place for someone who wants to stay in the centre of Prague and is looking for a bigger place (need to book 2 rooms as you travel in a bigger party).
The place is a bit difficult to find (even with GPS), as it's a bit hidden and it's situated in one way street with dead end:) The only small issue is with the parking (but parking is difficult everywhere in the centre). The hotel has a private garage, but you pay approx 40€ a night. On the other side you don' thave to worry about your car, moving it from place to place and it's safe in the garage.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, and a perfect place to explore Prague from. Tucked away in a charming corner of town but an easy walk to all the sights. We stayed in an appartment which was very spacious, simply but tastefully decorated. The free wireless internet in the room was great and breakfast (under the massive wooden beams in the loft) more than adequate. Excellent value.

We started our trip in Prague and the Appia set the standard for the rest of our journey. Simply a clean, quiet, comfortable and well managed place to stay. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Beds comfy. Rooms large. Prices reasonable.

First time Trip Advisor contributer.
However, per my trip to Prague I found the Appia Residences an excellent choice for lodging. Great location! We walked the entire city and couldnt believe what a great location the hotel is at. Fantastic proximity to many walkable sites but located in a very quiet area of town. Great combination. The staff, ie, Filip, Martin and Jana offered paramount customer service and good information on the city, public transportation, etc.
Through my several travels to different destinations throughout the world, I have yet to find a place as this with such incredible staff and services. Large comfortable rooms, a generous breakfast available as well.
When we return to Prague, there is no question that we will stay anywhere else but this Appia Residence site.

The Hotel is very clean and bright. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. A typical continental breakfast served in a very unique breakfast restaurant. We stayed in a two room+ bathroom suite. -Very convenient for å family with one and two children. There are many good restaurants in the area. You will find our favourite lunch restaurant Fleurs Café, and our favourite dinner restaurant Carmelita within walking distance from the hotel.
We will without doubt stay in this hotel with our next stay in Prague
