“Great location and excellent hotel experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

One of the greatest things about this hotel is its location. It is located at just 2min walk from the Old Plaza and by 1min walk from the Metro (underground) station. Due to its location, you're never away from the wondrous and beautiful city of Prague and one can live every moment of being in the city. The quality of decor and design of rooms is simply great. The rooms are spacious and well-serviced. Though we did not stay too much inside the hotel, as we were mostly outside, it always was very comforting returning to the hotel room. The only downside was the restaurant, which they are dependent on the one next door, but then Prague city Cafes compensate for that. So i did not really mind it. It may pinch your pocket to stay longer than 3 nights here owing to its central location, but it's worth it as one can spend really late hours on the streets of Prague and still reach the hotel in a relatively short time.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the Plaza are the best as they give the view to the street.

This hotel is ideally situated for a holiday visit to Prague. There is a Metro stop right next to the hotel (Mustek, Lines A and B). The Hotel Prague Inn is on Wenceslas Square and well within walking distance of the main sites like the Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge. Loads of shops selling souvenirs and clothing nearby. Plenty of cafes too. The hotel reception is quite small with modern decor. We had a room on the 4th floor facing the square which gave us nice views and no noise issues at all. You do pay extra for a room with a view though. Our room was of a good size with vaulted ceiling. It had a well stocked minibar, room safe, decent wardrobe and nice lighting. The overall look was modern, bathroom very clean and of a good size. Breakfast was good, continental style as you would expect with some hot options also. The surroundings for breakfast were impressive as the hotel's restaurant is set in the lower levels of the building. Generous discounts available in the restaurant for guests. Wifi is free throughout the hotel. We would definately stay here if visiting this wonderful city again.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Very central and close to everything that you might like in Prague (especially the shopping)!

The rooms are of a decent size (stayed in a double room with a view), and was quite pretty overlooking the square. The windows are great at keeping out the outside noise and also for blocking out sunshine for the early morning sleep if ou wish.

The stuff in the room like linen and towels is quite old and can really use an upgrade as can the showering gels etc.

Breakfast is nothing to rave about, I wouldn't go out of my way to have this included in my accommodation next time.

The reception spoke good English and were helpful with requests and housekeeping was very good.

Pretty good value for money, and I will be back mainly because of the location.

This hotel is situated right at the nicer end of Wenceslas Square, close to a large strip of shops and is a very short walking distance to Old Town. Did not have any trouble with noise as we were facing the internal courtyard. The hotel itself, once you get past the lobby, is very modern and appeared to be recently renovated. Our room was very clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. There is also wifi throughout the hotel which we did not have any issues with. My only beef was with the bathroom. While it was very clean and modern, the bath/shower combo did not have a curtain or glass barrier so water ended up all over the floor due to the awkward placement of the shower head. Not every bathroom is the same though, so could have just been the design of our room. Did not have breakfast here but dinner was excellent. I would recommend a stay here if you are interested in a hotel in a good location.

No doubt the location is what attracts people to book a room here.Previous reviews said no worry about the noise. Well we got a room facing the street in the second floor and the noise was definitely noticable, and it was not a weekend night when I presume it is worse. I recommend to ask for a different room if you are a light sleeper. The room exceeded my expectations, everything seemed new including a flat screen TV. The baby cot we requested was already in the room upon our arrival. Friendly reception, less friendly staff during the breakfast. Just a basic breakfast variety. Would book again with a different room and go to Cafe Cafe (50m away) for the breakfast.

The location of this hotel can not be beat. You're right in the center of Wenceslas Square and Na Príkope, both excellent strips for shopping (per my wife). You're also just a few hundred meters from the Old Town Square. Rooms were clean, bed was comfy and adequate for the short time we were actually in the room since pretty much the whole time we were about walking. Food was pricey but with the discount you receive for staying there its somewhat bearable. View from my room was horrible, though i could imagine some had great views.

I work as a sales manager in Brno office.
I was on business trip in Prague for 3 days and I stayed in Prague Inn Hotel.
I was very surprised by the excellent location and really friendly and nice staff at the reception.
