We stayed in the attic apartment from 14 - 18 May 2005. The hotel is located in the Old Town Square and is opposite the Astronomical Clock and we could not have booked a better location. It is very romantic and impressive with beams and consists of two double bedrooms and two bathrooms all of which are very spacious. It's approached by about 80 steps and then you enter a hallway so it feels very private and secluded. From the first bedroom there is an amazing view of the clock. It's enchanting to be able watch the hourly procession of the apostles from your own bedroom above and away from the crowds and something we will never forget. The spiral staircase leads to the enormous attic bedroom with lovely huge beams. It was a real joy to stay there. The only downside is the noise from the square that goes on till the early hours but the benefits certainly outway the negative. The buffet breakfast is at next door but one at the Grand Hotel Prague and is excellent and there are great views of the clock and square from the restaurant. I was not sure what to expect before we got there as apart from a few website photos and a couple reviews on Trip Advisor there's not much mention of it but I am so glad we did as it is a delightful, romantic and special place to stay. I hope we can go back soon.
