We stayed at Hotel Augustus et Otto Hotel for 3 nights in March-April 2015. They have an inner court parking for 6-8 cars, which was awesome - parking on the street seemed to be difficult. The hotel is half block away from the beautiful Vltava River, and walking distance to Ostrov Kampa (15 min.) and Mala Strana (25 min.). There is a metro (underground) station at only 5 minutes walking, for those who need to go further (Anděl). The hotel and all the amenities were clean, all employees were very nice and helpful. We had breakfast included with a huge variety of foods to choose from. I think it was a very good quality for the price paid, great location, and parking!
There are a few good restaurants around, in walking distance. One of them is Lavande, where we had a late lunch / early dinner the first day in Prague.

Room Tip: Our room had windows to inner court, but we were there to visit the city, not to spend time in hotel...

Location was good, very nice walk along river into town or take a tram ride which is scenic, cheap and quick. Room was fine although you need to ask for extra pillows. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of fresh hot and cold food. Prage is a lovely city best seen by walking it's myriad of streets

Room Tip: Get extra pillows

This hotel location is in a good area about a 20 minute walk to the main sights. We enjoyed it because we felt like we were in more of a locals area. We also enjoy walking in cities we travel to, so this was not a problem for us. The hotel is clean with large rooms and bathrooms. They serve a very good breakfast in the mornings with both hot and cold options. Staff was helpful.

Room Tip: We had a window facing the street. No problems with noise.

Location too far away from main attractions, long walk & trams not convenient. No restaurant in hotel, bar pretty non existent unless you wanted a bottle of wine or champagne, can of dark beer or absinthe! Breakfast lousy, staff seemed disinclined to refill coffee urn or juice. Our room was tiny, hairdryer broken, maid did not replace t bags or body lotion sachets, did not clean mugs or glasses, no shower caps provided no milk for tea in room. Only 4 coat hangers. Overall very disappointing. Reception staff fine, tried to help.

The wife and I stayed here for 4 nights around my birthday, I chose this hotel for the secure parking, didn't realise it was 15 euro a night till I arrived tho, but it's probably worth it as it's have a nice car, the room it's one of the largest hotels iv stayed in, no bath tub but two sinks,
the staff were nice and professional however the front door it's snes always locked, so you need to be buzzed in when you return, and watch the door handle as if you hold it and pull the door shut it's snot will pinch you're fingers, do I hard enough and it could easily break them,
but I would stay again it was in all a positive experience,

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2015

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel in February 2015. Have to say was a lot nicer than I was expecting. Rooms were clean and fresh, room cleaned and made fresh every day which was nice. Only down side was Czech tv, obviously we spent very little time here but it did say in their hotel guide that English tv was an option but when we asked they knew nothing about it. Breakfast was nice and plenty of it.
