This hotel is rather a dormitory (hostel) than a hotel. They put us in front of a room which is still renovating. The breakfast was low quality comparing to other hotel in Prague with lower price. In fact, the hotel is situated in the hostel, but they were very tricky to make you enter from another door (written Akcent hotel) and then you passed the restaurant and arrived at the hostel of another branch and took the elevator up to your room which is totally integrated inside the hostel or dormitory. This hotel or should I sayd Hostel should get no star since it's not even a hotel.

The hotel manager and service is like a soviet one. If you like to be treated not as a client but as a soviet subject, than this is a right place. They have no mentality of service. It's like a young people run hostel with no experience.

I would detinately not advise you to stay in this so called Hotel, but in reality a bad low quality hostel with unpleasant employee. Don't ruin your day with Akcent. Take another hotel but never Akcent again!!

Just came back from an excellent stay at Akcent hotel. decided to stay there after we found a good bargain on alpharooms website for low season now. just 96 euros for 3 nights in a double room.

getting fr the airport on bus 100 and changing to the metro to stop at Andel is easy. Just to be sure that you get out at the correct exit. The signboards will point to Tram on the left and Bus to the right if you are coming from Zilcin. Take the right exit towards the Bus station. After the escalators, the signboards should indicate left for bus station and if you look carefully, Akcent is indicated on the right. this exit will bring you directly to the Hotel entrance. I was wandering around for a while as I took the wrong exit n ended up at the shopping centre.

While it may be slightly out of the way to the main town's attractions, it is still very convenient via metro (3 stops away from Mustek) or tram 14/9 that brings you to major spots. enjoyed walking around the shopping centre though the shops are smaller in size and the main stores in central area has more selections. Tesco is very convenient as it closes at midnight and you can change euros directly with no comission and pretty good rates.

we had several nice meals around the city but i would recommend the bar restaurant which is part of the Staropramen beer factory almost directly opposite the Akcent across the bus station at the front of the hotel. You can see the big Staropramen signboard from the entrance of the hotel easily and the restaurant is to the right once you cross the bus station. Good beer and food at very reasonable prices where it was mostly locals.

I stayed here for 5 days at the end of July/beginning of August. I booked the trip via Expedia, but beware! Do not book through them as when I arrived there, Expedia had not confirmed my booking with Akcent and so they didn't have any details I was due to stay there. Fortunately, they managed to accommodate us anyway, but this was down to luck and the kindness of the hotel more than anything.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to the metro and down the road from a shopping centre and trams. The metro is only 3 stops from the centre of Prague and you just need to take bus no 100 from the airport to Zilcin metro, then this takes you direct to Andel. Here, you just follow the exit signs for the bus station and the hotel is right there!

The shopping centre is conveniently located with a large Tesco's and other retailers, along with a food court that has McDonalds and KFC. Very reasonably priced. A little tip with food...there are various restaurants around this area that is a lot cheaper than around Mustek. We went for a meal at TGI Friday's which is down the road from Akcent and it was great value and service!

The room itself is spacious and airy, but the pillows were flat but were OK once folded in half or you can ask for another pillow. Like someone else also mentioned, the lifts were very slow and there was only 1 lift, but this was not a big deal. The air con was great, but there are 5 rooms which do not have air con so double check this first. The lady on reception was very helpful and her English was great! The hotel also allows you to leave your luggage there before and after check in and check out. If you bring electrical products, they have travel plugs in reception for you to use.

I found some people I encountered a bit rude, but this was not very often. Most people did not speak English or if they did, it was broken English so communication was quite difficult sometimes. The transport system was great and so cheap, only £6 for a ticket to use on all transport for 7 days! You can buy this at the airport when you arrive. There is plenty to eat and see in Prague and everything is cheap compared to England, but clothes shopping is about the same price if not more expensive than here.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel and if I returned to Prague, I would definitely stay here again!

This was our first stay in Prague and we really didn't expect much about the hotel since it was so cheap. But we were positively suprised how nice and big the room was. Clean and cozy, including bathroom! Also personnel in hotel were awesome!
Location for the hotel couldn't be better. Few steps from the hotel entrance and you are in front of metro entrance. How cool is that?!
For shoppers the biggest and probably best shopping mall, Novy Smichov, is also few steps from hotel!
If you want to say some bad words, it must be the hotel's lift. It was so slow and in weather we had at our stay (+35 C), there was freaking hot!
So, we recommend this hotel warmly to all!
