“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

Clean, big room, very big bathroom, friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast could have been better. Free wifi everywhere. Overall good stay in prague! Would come here again in the future. Taxis to the old town cost around 200 crowns, otherwise public transport is nearby available.

Good locations, just downside from the hotel, there is a metrostation and nearby trams. The breakfast was ok, but not the most interesting (not a lot of things). The Wi-fi was good. The price of the hotel could be better.

A very comfortable hotel located near a great shopping center and a metro station. It is about 25 minutes away from the airport by car. The rooms are clean, bright, very spacious with and without balconies. The hotel offers a simple but good choice for breakfast. The personnel at the reception is very friendly, helpful and very flexible in case you need a later check out or an earlier check in. You get a wifi connection for the guests. The only disturbing factor in the hotel were very flat pillows. If you like to sleep with your head a bit higher, you just need to take two of them. That is the only reason why I rated the sleep quality a bit lower lol Would definitely go back again to the same hotel when visiting Prague. A great value you are getting for a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: Look for rooms with a balcony. They are really nice and with a lot of light.

A little way out of town but for us as a couple this was a good budget hotel. Large comfortable very warm room when below freezing outside. I was a little worried after seeing other reviews about it being cold. Not the case for us. Right next to the metro. For the money this was very good. Good choice for breakfast but I did pass on the cabbage soup first thing in the morning. Great pub just around the corner made it really nice.

I believe that the first impression is the one that counts. We entered and it smelled like smoke at the reception, this wasn't too nice.
Parking doesn't belong to the Hotel, but if you pay in advance it's cheaper.
The staff was friendly at the check-in, but wasn't really helpful when we complained about the twin room we got instead of the double room we booked... after a little discussion, a lady came and moved the beds here and there in the room and managed to transform the room into a double.
On the website they advertise tea and coffee in the room... there's a kettle, but tea and coffee are available at the reception, you must buy them.

After this first OKish impression, the location is pretty good as you have the tube station right under the hotel.
Breakfast was included and good!

We'll probably look for another place next time in Prague ;)

Room Tip: MAKE SURE you'll get the room you booked.

our travels took place in june 2013. akcent hotel is conveniently on the metro (andel stop) that emanates from nearby prague airport. ( a brief and cheap bus journey from airport to metro exists). an issue, not hotel related, is the drudge of stairs from the metro to street level with baggage. only 50m walk to the hotel lobby was a welcome relief. the hotel was quite good for us as budget travellers. the room was spacious, private, modern and well appointed. this applied as well to the ensuite. the cleanliness of the accommodation was excellent. we had daily breakfast which was of local fare and was ample. the staff were very pleasant and helpful. its location was wonderful. a bus terminus and tram lines were within a few minutes' walk from the hotel to enable accessibility to prague central. the novy smichov mall was also handy for purchasing items and to soak in the vibe of this great city. happy trails, chris and jane

Room Tip: we had a room overlooking carpark - this was not an issue. we assume there are rooms with city views...

Hotel with metro-stop direct in front of the entrance. Big room, with balcony and nice bathroom. Beds are ok, but pillows are really bad (just a sheet with some air). Airco was not that efficient; it took quite a while before the room cooled down.

And for the smokers....there are some smoking rooms available! (and in our room, you did not smell the smoke from previous users).

Restaurant had some simple dishes for a good price. Not real cozy, but fine for a lunch or dinner, after you arrive from the airport. Breakfast is basic, but ok.

Staff is friendly and speaks some English.

When I go back to Prague, I will go to this hotel again!
