“Fleabag ???”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

As soon as I arrived, I was surprised at the outfit. "Hostel???" And there are many trash boxes in front of the hotel door, which is of apartment inhabitants sharing a gateway. Not auto locked door. Fortunately, I wasn't suffered thief like other reviewers though I didn't know the review in advance and my room was just before the reception. However, the reputation for the security level is quite appropriate. In spite of such level, no deposit box. Indeed, I worried, too. So, I never left largesse when I went out. Though they offered to deposit my luggage after check-out, I paid enough attention.
As a next matter, I tell about the room. It was like a rental apartment room. Though it wasn't dirty at all, it is hard to say "clean". There are some foot print on the wall. - Though it wasn't clear. The most surprised of the room is that there isn't a telephone. It was in dash board of a desk. Of course, it wasn't connected though it wasn't practically inconvenient because my room was in front of reception. No mini bar. No amenity of water, coffee, tea... As a good point, there is a bathtub despite of this price level.
Stuffs' attitudes were good though it depends on each stuff. One stuff looked like curt but indeed kind after I talked to. They could communicate enough English. - Though she was struggling in French. Well, their attitudes were enough friendly.
The access is very good. But the atmosphere around this hotel is of ”low city". At least, it isn't elegant one.
Breakfast quality is normal but not memorable. The attention is you must pay as soon as you check-in, for breakfast. They put paper notice in reception.
It is hard to judge if it is good or not, in thinking the balance between the price and this quality. At least, for me the price isn't cheap even if I don't think of the quality.

One of my friend had really bad experience .All his baggage stolen in the room .He lost about 30000 euro goods and hotel manager didn't do anything . Just hotel in the world you can see this kind of security .How people can trust this hotel? . And interesting thing is the thieves had a back doors keys .Easily come in to hotel open the doors and come in to the room and CCTV record all the things. In that time hotel managers said to him they have insurance but after 2 weeks said sorry ?!??!?!?!

After one night stay in hotel claris a thief broke the room door and stolen all the things which includes clothes, shoes, bags and amount of money. After police recording and recording of CCTV images, the images showed how the thief carrying suitcase that was 57 kilos
The hotel manager told us we are insured and pay compensation. After three weeks, the manager told us I,m sorry the hotle can not pay money and I,m sorry about that and now you telling us we must forget the goods and baggage, money and evrything we lost. Now you can judge what the hotel claris is. would be better if we lay sleeping on the streets not the hotle I think the hotle is thife because didn,t accept responsibility. Dosn,t matter for them what happen to us.It is so bad hotel. It is terrible.
IT IS interesting………………………..
Thife had a hotl claris key and stay one of the room
Like the room number 205.
we lost about 20000 EURO and waste a lot of time after 2 months trip in Europe and bought a lot of things.29 may 2013

Room Tip: Never, because all the time you must worry about your property. The hotel is not responsible.

- no hot breakfast
- same breakfast every day
- room did stink like a church (you need to smell it to understand :) )
- gave us (married couple) room with separate beds, had to switch rooms
- light sensors on corridors too far away from each other on very short switch, were walking in the dark on the stairs
- not worth the money (60 EUR per night incl. "breakfast")

+ nice bathroom
+ despite the smell the room was clean
+ location (5 minutes walk from metro station + outstanding restaurant only few steps away)
+ night receptionist was very helpful

Stayed three night with my girlfriend during our long weekend in Prague. Lets start with the positives. Hotel is conveniently located, its just few minutes walk from Namesti Miru (metro A), or about 15 minutes to the city centre. Very quiet location, all rooms we have seen were inside the house block so no noise from outside. Cleanliness without any complaints, large bathroom with bathtub. As with every cheap establishment there are always a few downsides - first of all, when entering the hotel you need to buzz the door and then wait for the receptionist to unlock the door. Not great if one is coming back home late at night - buzzes the door and no one is answering (to be honest - receptionist apologized and it did not take longer than maybe a minute, but still - its should be a hotel!) One of the beds was broken and squeaky a bit. Wanted to buy some wine and mineral water from the reception. They had one (literally ONE) bottle of red wine there - and it was not a good one. Want to watch TV (not that we wanted)? - well, go to the reception and ask for the remote control. Breakfast was the same for three days - two types of cereals, plain yoghurt, some ham/cheese cuts, butter, toasts... No fruit (apart from terribly looking uncut apples). While the review may sound a bit pessimistic we had a good stay in Prague (anyway - we weren't there for the hotel) as this hotel is a good starting point due to its location.

A good choice for Prague, but you do have a slightly longer walk to get into town. This is compensated for by being in a nice part of town with good bars and restaurants, and few tourists. Prague is expensive so this is a reasonably priced hotel compared to others.
