“Marvelous hotel next to Old Town Square”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It offers quiet luxury in the heart of Old Town. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. As we were leaving to explore and rain started, we were handed two first rate umbrellas to use for the day. The breakfast area is lovely and the food excellent.

Room Tip: Rooms are extremely spacious relative to the European norm. We were offered a two level model but s...

So, so pleased I chose Ventana Hotel for our stay in Prague. From the moment I booked, through to check out, their service was the best! I had very quick responses from all my enquiries regarding booking drivers to information on Prague......everything!

The Hotel itself is in an unbeatable location. Standing at the Astronomical Clock you can see our Hotel, it is that close to the Old Town Square. We walked to everything, it is in the ideal location. It is a beautiful hotel in an original building. Our room was very large with very high ceilings (and a lovely chandelier), and our bathroom had an extremely deep bath which was glorious to soak in after a big day walking around the city! I thought their breakfasts were perfect, more than enough to chose from. Eggs (scrambled and fried) plus bacon and sausages, plus all of the usual continental choices....perfect.

The only negative for us as being so close to the "action" you can hear some late night revellers in the early hours, but with the double glazing, it helps to muffle the noise. Hey! We were prepared to put up with this for the convenience of everything around us!

But, what sets this place apart is the WONDERFUL staff from the Bellmen through to the Reception staff......the best! Well Done!

We would not stay anywhere else if ever we come back to Prague!

The Ventana Hotel is real old world luxury. It is located right in the heart of old city, just a few steps away from The Astronomical Clock, a terrific open square with performers of all sorts and many good restaurants. Their breakfast is wonderful! Beautiful lobby with fireplace and a nice courtyard. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The location is great, just in the center of old town(nearby main square). Service is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. We stayed at a mezzanine floor room, which is spacious but kind of tiring going up and down. The breakfast is fine.

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town. After a few walk, you can find yourself in front of astronomical clock or the houses with interesting paintings, especially the one where Kafka lived. We stayed in a top-level room which is duplex and the room was very well designed. Because of the lack of variety, the breakfast couldn’t be defined as “the best”, but it was enough to say "good". In terms of reception, not all but some of the staff were very kind and helpful. Adam was one of them, we just asked him how we could go to Terezin and then he printed all related documents – timetables, explained the route deeply. I can say in short words “we definitely recommend the hotel !!!”.

Room Tip: top-level-duplex rooms are fine

Stayed here January (sorry it's a late posting. Been busy) we also stayed here 2 years ago. I can't fault this hotel. Boutique. Lovely rooms. Lovely staff. Very central location. For an extra cost they pick you up from the airport. Wine or champagne in your room and they organise dinner at a very good restaurant, all included in the price PAY IT. It was worth the extra. Ps as you come out the hotel go straight ahead, to the left a little bit and you will come to the most amazing cocktail bar called books and (can't remember, it might be piano). Enjoy!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the clock. You can then look out onto the square. Ours had a window seat
