“Whimsical Gehryness!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

If anything Gehry is in your town, we'll be sure to go see it! This building is in motion - it dances! - you can see Fred Astaire taking Ginger Rogers by the waist and bending her back to do an awesome twirl and her gown is flowing at the bottom. Very cool and modern architecture that stands out in comparison to it's surroundings.

There is a fee to be able to go in and up to the viewing deck. It is worth doing so because photo opportunities of Prague and the bridges to the right and left are really nice. The price includes a a beverage of which can be a flute of champagne!

Celeste Restaurant - a good french restaurant is located on the top floor.

“Impressive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2014

I love seeing modern architecture and I love Gehry, but while the building is cool and intriguing, I have to admit it looks as if it does not fit in quite right in that neighbourhood and among its neighbours.

“A mix of the old and modern”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

The day I was walking by the river it was raining. After taking a few photos of this modern mixture between the old buildings, my friend and I decided to go and have a cup of coffee! The cafe is just right around the corner. The whole building is a business building. The cafe provide an art gallery and you have to pay to enter. If you don't want to look at the gallery simply order yourself a drink! There's free wifi provided inside the cafe, just ask the staff there and they will gladly provide you the information. The washroom is very clean as well. The staff there will not rush you so, you can take your time there. The coffee was average & the area is quite with a few artist around.

“Concept, design, cuisine, service combined into one!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

Took the Prague Metro to this cool restaurant on the bank of the Vltava, in view of the Castle. Recommended by our hotel concierge for its food but first sighted during a city tour because of its unique architecture, the place did not disappoint on any score. Located on the top floors of the Dancing House, you have to know it's there...no signs on the outside...just walk into the main door and you'll be whisked up to the circular dining room decorated all in white and glass, with killer views from every table. Innovative menu features fresh, colorful, small plate first courses and entrees...my quail was splendid. World wine list choices eased by truly helpful sommelier. Well worth searching out!

“Don't normally like modern architecture...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014

I don't normally like modern architecture but this building is pretty cool. It goes against my pre-conceptions of ugly modern buildings. Love it!
