“Dirty, Noisy, One friendly staff, Others were not”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

I've just stayed here last week and the good thing was they were able to accommodate us very last minute.

The staff who welcomed us was very nice. His name was Daniel and really friendly. However, that is where the positives end. The rooms was clean, but the beds didn't even have any bedsheets on it. There was a blanket and pillow, both of which smelled very questionable.

Towels are an additional charge to rent. The bathrooms were clean, but the showers were leaky. Also, the design of the hostel was not great. There were locks to every section. A lock to the showers, a lock to the bathrooms, a lock to the area that enters the bedrooms.

Also, the place really echoed. You can hear what everyone was doing, which made it really hard to sleep when you can hear everything.

When we checked out the next morning, there was a woman. She was cold, and a bit rude to us as we were checking out, complaining that Daniel (the guy from before) didn't do anything right and that my handwriting is not legible, etc...

Booked 3 nights and then last minute had to extend our stay and they were able to accommodate us as well as allow us to stay in the same bunk. The rooms were big, beds were comfy and you were provided with a lockable locker.

The shared kitchen was fine, there was a seating area by reception but it was not really used. Although the shower and toilet facilities were clean there was only 2 showers for the entire hostel (of about 45 people) and 1 female and 1 male toilet. So although you would never queue for that long it was often a case of grabbing a towel whenever the shower was vacant.

The staff were friendly and to reception was 24 hour. Take cash as they do not accept card.
