“Wonderful Show. Nice Dinner. Ok organized”
It was a lovely end for our trip. The Opera show was wonderful. It started at 1900 and finished at 2200. However, he show is only 60 min with intervals of 20 min between food services. The good thing is the show it self, very classical, professional, and like a private opera in your living room. We will recommends to seat in the middle and not to take the private balcony. It's much more closer to the actors and you feel and bland with the audience. Couple of things you should know before you make your reservation. Dinner: The dinner is OK. It taste good but don't expect to be full after that dinner. They serve very small dishes. Drinks: to speak on the event organized defense, and NOT like the other reviews, they stated very loud and clear that the drinks are NOT included in the meals, they even provide you with a menu and the cost of the drinks. It's not cheap and they accept only cash, BUT you know if in advance, so it's up to you to decide. All in all! It's not about the dinner and its worth the money because of the wonderful show they are doing. So the combination is great. Organization: this is the very down side and I even say poor. They don't have enough waiters and you have to wait for a long time from one show to the next. They serve the food for the first row, then to the second, then the take the empty plates from the first, sever to the third, and go to the second and so for, so it takes up to 45 mins for the first show to start. When we asked for the check at the end of the last show, they told us that we need to wait until the end which take some more 30 min to pay for it, it was make no sense what so ever, also only one person was in charge on the bills and it took forever, they need to provide the check with the Deseret in our mind. One more thing is the time that they open the doors, they say that they open e doors 15 min before the show so we come 25 min to catch some good seats but most of the tables where occupied already so we didn't know when they acutely opened the doors. BUT with all what having said, we will defiantly recommend to go to this Opera! We loved it and it was very relaxing way to finish our vacation.

Thank you very much for detailed and comprehensive review. At the first place we are glad that you recommend the event, your description of it as “private opera in your living room” makes as quite happy, we believe it fits quite well, as this is exactly what we try to provide our guest, an intimate opera experience in cozy atmosphere, which in a ‘Prague opera world’ is very unique and typical just to our event.
Admission to the hall is indeed 30mins before7pm, my apology for confusing information on the web, it has been fixed now.
As for the service coordination, we passed your feedback to the hotel Food and Beverage Manager and we can assure you, that our agency altogether with the hotel, take your feedback very seriously and will review the overall organization and sufficient number of waiters available on site.
Regarding the payment, it is definitely possible to pay with credit card(CC), you must have received incorrect information, for which I apologize! Only that while paying with CC, it may take a little longer- or exceptionally obstruction may occur, as you can imagine our event is in historical ballroom with lower signal quality, which we also communicate everywhere at our web, and we kindly ask our guests for comprehension and patience if customers chooses credit card payment option.
I thank you again very much for detailed review of entire event, it will again help us to make another improvements.
