Description: The brewery and restaurant U Tri ruzi in Prague is situated in the historical center on Husova street close to the famous Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Right after your entering the feeling of the unique atmosphere of an Old-Prague brewery will overcome you. The feeling is intensified by wall-paintings by artists Jiri Bernard and Pavel Jakl who drew and painted pictures about the history of brewing in the Czech lands as the rich history of the house (the brewery U Tri ruzi).

“Just what we were looking for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

We asked the receptionist at our hotel the Slavic, where we could go for dinner something local. Well she directed us across the street, i was a bit skeptical thinking she was just trying to drum up business for a friend. We could not have been more wrong, it was a great little place, warm bar brewing great beer, so much so my wife whom I have not seen drink a beer since i have known her had two. Appetizers were tasty, soup was great and every main course we had i would order again. We had drinks two starters soup and a main course as well as strudel for dessert with coffee for about the same price as a pizza salad and a beer at one of the tourist traps at old town square. We ended up going there two of the three nights we were there and was everything we were looking for.

“Best pub/restaurant I have been to.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

"Typical Czech" establishments are a dime a dozen. This one however has excellent food, great service, a clean establishment, AND brews their own beer. There is a flavor for all pallets with multi language menus. Price? How about less than 35 USD for two full meals and 4 pints of beer with a tip. I have found this to be very well priced with great value based on quality and overall experience. Have been more than once while on vacation and would highly recommend.

“Atmospheric non-smoking brewery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

We loved this bar/restaurant. First of all, it was non-smoking (which is a rarity in Prague), secondly it's a microbrewery, so you see the vats and smell the hops when you walk in the door and it has a great selection of beers. Thirdly, the interior with its murals and sketches make it really cozy. We came back here on our last day in Prague for lunch; the menu is not specifically Czech but has something for everyone and is very tasty. Doesn't open late so keep an eye on opening times.

“Great brewery in the heart of Prague”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

After a morning around the castle and the centre we were hungry and looking for a typical place to have lunch!
My boyfriend had never tried Czech food so we decided to look for places on trip advisor and found this really nice place.
He had roasted duck with potato dumplings and cabbage (typical) and I went for the pork schnitzel with potato purée!
The food was delicious ( I would say it was the best schnitzel I have ever had - not fat at all!!!)
And the beer ( my boyfriend had a house lager) was very good and is the perfect drink to go with the food we choose!

Don't miss it! And all by 485 czech crown ( around 17 pounds)
