We stayed at this hotel as a group of 4 in one of the apartments in July 2013. Overall, the hotel is brilliantly located and close to top attractions. Taxis can be booked to further places at a good fixed price at reception and all the taxi people were lovely and very helpful.
The apartment was a good size for 4 people and having 2 bathrooms was a plus.
Breakfast was of a good standard, plenty of variety and food was being constantly replenished so nice and fresh! There was always somewhere to sit!
Nearly all the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, however, one of them did break our conversation mid way whilst asking for directions to answer the phone and their back was turned on us! I'm hoping this was a slight hiccup in communication as overall their English was impeccable and they were helpful.
The room was equipped with a hob, fridge, sink, and 4 glasses. We requested a kettle on the first day and was told that they didn't have any in the room as they always went missing! Even though we didn't spend much time in the room as we were out exploring, a kettle would of been appreciated so we could make a cup of tea/ coffee when we wanted back in the room.
Also, requested an iron and apparently there was only 1 and it was out in a room and didn't know when it would be free.
During our stay, it was 30degrees plus! And we were struggling at night in the apartment as there was no air conditioning! We genuinely thought as a 4 star hotel, this should of been as standard, especially being on the top floor and the heat these rooms could reach! So needless to say, none of us had the best nights sleep as it was way too hot!
Overall, the hotel is nonetheless a good, centrally located place. The rooms were clean and were cleaned everyday. If we needed directions etc, the staff were happy to help. There are shops close by (including a Tesco and pharmacy) and we all did have a good time. We just expected for a 4 star to have a few more facilities such as air conditioning, a kettle and an iron.

I am sorry we were not able to provide you withe kettle and iron: we have at our disposal some pieces of both of them, which can be borrowed according to their availability.
I will get this useful information from your experience to provide some eventual changes in the hotel.
