Situated just behind the Charles Bridge a short distance south of the Old Town Square (but far enough away from the busiest tourist areas), this is a great location from which to explore this wonderful city and all its sights. There are lots of narrow winding streets and squares to explore nearby and it's hard to imagine a better place to be, to be honest.
The hotel itself is lovely... It has a bright, modern feel (& a nice outdoor courtyard terrace) but is in a classic old building on a quiet, cobbled lane. Many rooms overlook the River Vltava and the Castle District of Hradcany up on the hill. Breakfasts are huge and tasty, with enormous choice from lots of buffet tables, and the restaurant looks lovely (though we didn't eat there during our stay).
The rooms are well-equipped, modern and comfortable (at least ours was), there is free wifi and the staff are friendly, too. Tomas the General Manager and Marika (Sales Manager?) in particular, were very welcoming and friendly.
All in all, a great place to stay and hard to beat if you're coming to Prague and want a good-quality hotel,
