Very friendly atmosphere, helpful personnel, excellent breakfast, good cleaning, fresh rooms with most things you could expect, calm and quiet surroundings close to many tourist attractions. Can't complain on anything. Would come back anytime.

This was our third year stay at this beautiful hotel; I cannot fault anything, the hotel is spotless and bright, the staff was friendly, helpful and more than willing to help you with any problems, I would like to say a special thank you to Manager Yasser Abd El Wahab who went out of his way to make our stay a very enjoyable experience, we were feeling a bit down one day on being conned into taking a lower rate at a money exchange in the centre of Prague, on hearing this he cheered us up by sending a bottle of champagne to our room, a gesture that most hotels would not do but this kind act saved the day. We are already planning our next stay.

The room was fine, the restaurant and breakfast was fine and the overall presence was fine on appearance it was like a Palace...BUT once our tax driver knew our loctaion the priced (compared to average) went up 50% and the driver helped himself to his own tip. He didn't unload the luggage , instead got hotel staff to do it. Our guy was very happy and took us to our room where we ghave a tip equivalent to 5 euros, it wasn't enough and we had to double it. Reception insisted on introducing us to the maitre de, no doubt to get a cut of his tip and he was forever coming over to us to "earn" his keep. The Hotel cart took us to the airport but when we tipped the driver 5 euros he dumped our luggage on the road and it was up to us to carry it to the footpath.

Altogether a porr experience for a beautiful hotel for which we paid a premium price. Oh and one more thing. During the night a flashin light kept coming on about every hour or so. We figured we couldnt afford to get somone up to check it or we would run out of tip money.

Room Tip: We don't know whether the attitude of staff here is similar to other hotels in Prague but we wou...

The hotel lobby was so beautiful and majestic. The room is very modern.

Great location, walking distance to all the main attractions.

The hotel spa/underground swimming pool is like no other. We ended up spending a lot of time there every night after a long day of walking and visiting palaces.

We stayed at the Boscolo for four nights. Two rooms, one for my Husband and I and another for my Mother. Both rooms in the modern section of the hotel on levels 3 and 4. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable but I would recommend the layout of the rooms with a queen/king size bed rather than the twin beds (together) as we had because it gives you far less space. Minor point but worth noting.

The location is good and is less than a 10min walk from the outskirts of the old town. As the building was once bank it is not located in a particularly residential area but we found it to be perfectly safe. We walked everywhere so did not use public transport or taxi.

Tips: Use the Concierge - if you want helpful advice in booking restaurants (any cuisine, budget etc.) then be sure to speak to the Concierge. Very knowledgeable and there to make your stay enjoyable.

Have a drink in the bar - the bar area is transformed from breakfast buffet to a really pleasant and comfortable bar in the evening. We enjoyed the ambiance and the bar service is very good.

Spa/Pool - if you want to swim in the pool make sure you do so before 5pm in the evening as there is a 10 Euro charge to swim between 5-8pm (peak hours). If the pool area is full during this time then you will not be allowed to enter.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay and the staff are all very helpful.
