“Very Classy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

Hotel is located in a pedestrian area, with cafes and designer shops close by, underground in close vicinity and Wenceslas Square few metres away. Classical designed room with comfortable bedding and well equipped bathroom. Tea/coffee making facility available and well stocked bar. Breakfast good but can be more varied. Helpful and welcoming staff. Hotel has a gym and sauna. Hotel with best location. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Rooms have double windows so those overlooking the street are perfect as no outside noise canbe hear...

Our first visit in Prague. Room decor a bit old-fashioned, but it is shown in the hotel's web site. The hotel met our expectations. Friendly service and clean room. The breakfast was pretty good. Next time, we book the same hotel because excellent location!

Our second stay at the Liberty and fourth in Prague.

We were able to check in early having booked well in advance, for our requested room with a shower stall.

Spotlessly clean, as before, with good lighting and storage space, including a desk area and usable private terrace.

Reception staff were excellent and friendly, as indeed were all the staff we met.

Breakfast is the only meal offered and was very popular and to a high standard with cereals, pastries, juices, cold meats and cheeses, salad and fruit, yoghurt and pancakes as well as a hot choice. Excellent coffee.

The enviable central position the Liberty enjoys, opposite the metro, adjacent to Wenceslas Square and less than 10 minutes walk from Old Town Square and Karluv Most make it a gem!

So much so that we will be booking again very shortly.

Many thanks to Luca and his team for an excellent product.

Room Tip: If you want a shower stall and terrace, ask for room 7.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Hotel Liberty and we have nothing but praise for this wonderful place!

After a 25 minute taxi transfer from the airport (approximately 700-800 Czech koruna), we were greeted by a very friendly lady at reception who quickly checked us in. We were in room 12 on the second floor - a quiet room away from the street. The room was clean, tidy, spacious and luxurious. Some may say it appears dated, however I quite liked it! The room came with matching robes and slippers. The hotel is very warm, therefore there is a good air conditioning system and both windows open.

The hotel guide makes reference to the very hard mattress and state that a softer mattress will be provided if this is a problem. We did try and bare with the hard mattress but it really wasn't that comfortable so we requested a new one which was immediately put in place.

I think the best part about this hotel is the location. A 10 minute walk from the Old Town Square and a 20 minute walk the opposite direction to the Charles Bridge with a wide selection of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants in between - couldn't be better!

Breakfasts were always delicious, a lot of yummy food to choose from such as eggs, toast, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, pancakes (with Nutella!) - all fantastic.

All in all, a fantastic stay. We definitely recommend this hotel, thank you Hotel Liberty for making our stay so perfect x

Perfect location for trip in Prague. Very good breakfast.
Room size and facilities were very good.
The room was silent, as the hotel is located in pedestrian only street
Room was cleaned daily, except toilet that was not cleaned for few days. Toilet was cleaned only after we asked for it.

Dear Eyal,
thank you very much for your review. After reading it I decided to react with the explanation of the cleaning service in the bathrooms. The housekeeping is cleaning the bathroom every day. The only exception is the policy of saving water and our environment which we overtook. As we inform the guests in all the bathrooms, we are changing the towels and the bathrobes always when the Guests leave them on the floor. Michael Hrebicek, Sales Manager

We stayed at a deluxe room in April 2014 and loved it. The location is great - walking distance to pretty much everywhere - a 7 min walk to the old town square, 15 min walk to Charles Bridge, 12 min to jewish quarters. Breakfast was included in our rate and was really good - a very nice spread of hot and cold food, delicious baked goods, etc. Our room was great - it was really large - king size bed and two pull out sofas where our kids slept; you could see Prague castle from the window. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: We stayed at a deluxe room - it was really large, with a huge bathroom and was plenty for a family o...

we just came back from a great vacation in prague.me and my husband, we stayed at hotel liberty for 4 nights. we got room nomber 2,wich was at the first floor- big, clean, beauty, designed room ;) two things to improve- first : there is no bathroom rack handle and no shower curtain, so each time when we got showered we had to hold the bath handle along the shower time and the ground get wet and the water get out of the bathtub. second thing - there was a wierd smell at the bath and toilete room along our stay..so we closed the door to prevent it.-we didnt want to bother the hotel staff and ask to remove as from this room cause all the other things were great.
we had a big window facing the busy and beauty street and the room was cleaned every day, i should say that it is the cleanest hotel that i have ever been at.
breakfast was good, same every day but includes everything that breakfast should include, it was tastey and nice. the staff were polite and cheerful.
also the receptionest was nice and helpful.we got information about every thing we wanted. the hotel closes its intrance door at 00:00 midnight. but u can stay out late, there is a ring that calls the receptionest to open the door for u.
location is great great great great..u have everything u need..u can go by foot to all atraction..u can also get the metro which is infront the hotel. .
prague is an amazing place ;)) first time there and hope to come again..if yes, it will definitly be to hotel liberty ;)))
forgot to mention that the hotel arranged for us the transfer to and from the airport - 26 euro.
and when we early left we got with us a breakfast basket.
to coclude..go there u wont regret!!! worthy ;))))
