“Marvellous stay in Art Deco elegance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

We stayed for three nights in December - beautiful rooms, with marble bathrooms and large, luxurious deep baths. Everything was spotlessly clean and the service by the concierge and reception staff second to none. The Hotel is very close to the old town and the hotel itself is a fine example of art deco design. The included breakfast in the famous Café Imperial was excellent. We organised two transfers through the concierge and both were excellently priced , on time and with courteous drivers. If you want a wonderful stay in Prague, Art Deco Hotel Imperial is a great place to start.

Friendly service, comfy room, lovely breakfast. Room service didn't happen, but I think they tried, and then got confused! Good shower, nice products in the room. Wi-Fi didn't seem to work hugely well.

Stayed 3 nights. The building itself and reception rooms and cafe are unique and are worth seeing. Our
stay was satisfactory. We had an executive room which was a little tight on space. Bathroom was good. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel location was convenient for getting about. Staff were efficient and courteous.

This Hotel has an ambiance that is truly charming! The art deco design and the elegance of the architecture made our stay feel as if we were indulging ourselves in deep luxury. The staff were extremely helpful and especially so when I had a medical condition that required a trip to the Hospital. They sent me in their limousine and phoned ahead to clear the way for me to see a specialist. The breakfast buffet was by far the best out of the 4 week trip around this area: Budapest, Vienna, Dubrovnik, Hvar etc. and the restaurant had a very good menu with personable and efficient staff. The location was excellent; very close to The Opera House and Theatres, shopping and the tram. What more could you ask for on your first trip to Prague?!

I plan to return to Prague and I will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights from 3/1/14. We had liased with the concierge via e mail and arranged transfers from the airport to the hotel which was well priced and was good to travel in comfort in a lovely mercedes car. On arrival we had to wait 30 mins for our room which was great considering they mananged to get us in 2 hours before check out time. The rooms are beautiful , in an art deco style and had everything you could want e.g hairdryer , tv , mini bar (although that wasnt cheap). The bathroom was luxurious . The only downside was we were at rear of hotel and had no view other than a wall.
We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced.
Hotel in easy walking distance to all attractions.
Would have no problem recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Room Tip: Ask for room at front of hotel..

There is no where else to stay in Prague. From the pickup at the airport to checkout three days later the entire experience is more than what one would expect of a first class hotel. The entire staff deserves mention; polite, courteous and very helpful. David (the driver) deserves special mention as to the tour and history of Prague he provided anytime I was in his car.
The room is expansive and very comfortable with a huge bathtub!
The breakfast is not to be missed, great little sausages. Very easy walk to downtown and shopping. If you stay anywhere else in Prague, you are wasting both your time and money.

Initially we were booked into another hotel, but something went wrong and they relocated us to the Imperial. We were apprehensive at what we might find but actually we ended up in a far better place then we could have afforded! This hotel is just beautiful, genuine Art Deco and high quality furnishings. Fabulous bathroom. The restaurant is amazing, covered in decorative tiling. The breakfasts are excellent with lovely coffee.
The staff are very nice and helpful, and the hotel is within easy reach of the town centre. I would definitely want to stay here again.
