“Lovely Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Persuaded my partner that we should have a short break in the city on the basis of the hotel photos and reviews. We were not disappointed!

Booked the basic (deluxe) room but on arrival were happy to be upsold to an executive room with more space, extra half bathroom, coffee maker and free Wi-Fi for an additional 120 Euros.

Staff all very friendly and an excellent breakfast buffet in the beautiful Art Deco restaurant was included - you can order omelettes made to order and cappuccinos or cafe lattes at no extra cost.

We dined twice in the Cafe and the food was delicious, especially the sea bass and the chocolate fondant dessert. House wine also good. Service on the second night however was a little slow - possibly the waiter forgot to place the dessert order.

We used the hotel's taxi service and were whisked to and from the airport in a comfortable Mercedes. The hotel is in walking distance of most of the sights and close to tram stops.

Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Prague.

Room Tip: Upgrade to an executive room for a more enjoyable stay.

This hotel was outstanding. The decor is lovely, the beds were unbelievably comfortable, the rooms and all areas were impeccably clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On top of all of this the location was perfect being close enough to get to Old Town Square fast and easily but far enough away so that one is not in the middle of the incredible throng of tourists. The breakfast buffet included in the price of the hotel was very good. The fruit was fresh every morning and the selection of breakfast foods was varied so we never got bored. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future and I recommend it to all who visit Prague.

This hotel is very central to all the sites in Prague and tourists will find it very comfortable as well. Good breakfast in the restaurant and the rooms are clean and very adequate for the average tourist. The bathroom is decorated in traditional style for the country and is kept very clean and ours was renovated. Staff very friendly. Good bar for that late night drink. I would recommend this hotel especially for tourists.

Room Tip: If you need a bath, then request it. We stayed on the 6th floor and there was no noise at all from...

I have stayed here for business. The hotel is located on a walking distance from the old town square and is easy to find. The rooms are not very large, but the level of comfort is high. Everything is kept very clean and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is very lovely, everything is there. I have seen bigger buffets, but here the quality is being prioritized, not the quantity....

The hotel offers parking service as well.

Long story short, next week I will travel again to Prague and my room has already been booked...

Room Tip: Ask a room at the inner court, those are very quiet.

We were not disappointed in this hotel. The staff were helpful, pleasant and eager to please. Everything was completed with calm efficiency The breakfast was a large buffet style one which catered for everyone. Fresh omelettes, full English, continental, pancakes with maple syrup, fresh fruit, cereal, many types of bread and cakes and much more. Our bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. The room was always spotlessly cleaned and the toiletries replaced daily.
It is only a short walk to the city centre, making it an ideal location. There are other bars and restaurants close by if you do not wish to eat in the hotel but we were never disturbed by any outside noise ( or inside noise either). The decor in the restaurant is very Art decor as are other public parts. We would certainly return there and would highly recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Room Tip: 610 is a large comfortable double bedroom on the top floor of the hotel which has skylights but no w...

We arrived at the hotel, not sure how close the location would be to the main part of the city. Absolutely convenient location and there is a big mall within a two-minute walk of the hotel. The staff was great. The rooms were more than adequate with a shower and bathtub in the bathroom. I usually don't take baths in hotels, but this tub was so darn inviting that I had to. The room had ample space and was well decorated. There are not a lot of English TV stations but we were happy to have four, taking into consideration where we were, so it was more than adequate. We did order an in-room movie but it didn't work but that was not a big deal. The breakfast -- and I love breakfast -- was a buffet that had everything that I love for breakfast; unbelievable buttery croissants, smoked salmon with the trimmings, pancakes, sausage, omelet station, pastries, sausage, bacon. Those were the things that I just liked and had. There were plenty of other selections. And in the true Eastern European tradition, vodka for breakfast too!

So I would highly recommend this hotel. And I want to give a special thanks to Katerina, who helped us with some issues we had that didn't involve the hotel. And Radek, who was a wonderful and friendly doorman who was very nice, always had a smile and a kind word and helped us with transportation. We would definitely stay with you all again!

My husband and I visited Prague for the first time during a trip to Europe and booked this hotel for two nights. It is in a fantatic location, close to the Old Town Square, but in a quiet and accessible neighbourhood. We arrived quite early from Brussels and were delighted that we were shown to our room a few hours before the official check in time. We found all the staff to be really helpful and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely time at the in-house bar and also had a wonderful continental breakfast in our room on one of the mornings. The only negative thing I have to say is that you should avoid their in-house restaurant, The Imperial Cafe, if you can. Very arrogant and unhelpful staff, over-priced and terrible food. But we absolutely loved the hotel and would highly recommend it.
