“Great Choice, helpfull management”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

The location is superb, as the Old Town Square is just around the corner. Minutes to Charles Bridge, basically in walking distance from many of the main attractions. But were they really excelled is their costumer service-Adriana the sales manager was extremely helpful when we experienced travel delays. A last minute strike by El Al, prevented us from flying from Tel Aviv to Prague. I have e mailed Adriana, and she moved our reservation to the next day, and although it was only a few hours from our arrival, the cancelled night was not charged to my credit card. Then the following day, the flight was cancelled again, as the strike continued...by then I arranged for a different flight that would arrive the next day in the morning...and again Adriana, just pushed the reservation to the day we actually arrived. When we arrived in the morning, tired after an all night flight, the hotel was almost full, and we could not get our room early....but they managed to get us another room with an early check in for a day rate of half of our daily rate, and this way we could not only get to a room and refresh, we were able to also enjoy their breakfast, which is served until 10am. Adriana also helped me coordinate the exchange of train tickets which we purchased ahead of time to go to Budapest. Martin the porter, was very nice and helpful as well, as he showed us what rooms are available for the early check in. The room was very comfortable, roomy bathroom, delicious breakfast buffet. Can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff is. The location and quality for the price, makes it a perfect choice.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms on the 4th floor are very small, but the lower floors have better rooms.

We enjoyed a great stay at Rott Hotel. The location could not be better, your can pretty much walk everywhere, the hotel is a few steps from the main square, with lots of nice restaurants in the neighborhood.

I have to note that our room was huge. I mean huge! Breakfast was very good and was included in our rate. They helped us with arrangements with transportation from and to the airport and the service was always extremely helpful and attentive.

We would most certainly return to Rott and recommend to family and friends.

By the way, don't miss the Back Theatre Image, a few blocks from the hotel, and classical music in one of the many churches... Also, if they are on, try and see the Magic Lantern...

At Rott Hotel you are just in the middle of everything. Cross the street and you're at the town square. Everything is at walking distance.
Also the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff at breakfast was a bit moody though. But at the desk they were very friendly.

Love the hotel's location, minutes of walk from Old Town Square. The staffs are friendly. But the bed arrangement in our room is really weird, see photo. It makes me feel like I'm sleeping in a hostel room.... The room has not got a kettle, lucky we brought our own, having been told that most Europe hotels don't provide a kettle. Our room was pretty noisy at night. We're not sure those were from bars or what. But as we're really tired, we didn't really care.

We arranged airport pickup by the hotel's transport. The driver has got no smile on his face and with the long trench coat he looked like an FBI agent. haha.... I was glad that I read somewhere warning us don't expect service staffs (in Czech) to give you welcoming smiley face like what you'd expect in other countries. LOL... But other staffs in the hotel are friendly. Our room includes daily breakfast, we stayed 3 nights and breakfast are the same everyday.

Don't let the name put you off. Great prices. Excellent central old town location. Do some research look it up and click and pay. You will not regret it. We found all the sights within a stones throw. Well situated for restaurants. Quiet comfortable room. Would definitely recommend and go back one day.

Great location, just minutes from old town square and Charles bridge is just a short walk away. As it was our honey moon the hotel even throw in a bottle of champagne for us, and we are really touched by the gesture.

Great breakfast spread.

Some of the reviewers are complains about noise in the night but i really think it beyond the hotel to control the noises from the street given it so near the old town square.

Just that the shower area is really small, quite a waste for such a big toilet.

This hotel is ideally located for a short break to Prague. Although close to most of the main attractions and in a busy area, the hotel has very little noise from traffic or from the street outside. We had a very comfortable room and a wide choice of breakfast food. The attached restaurant is also first class and the staff very friendly and approachable.

Room Tip: Unable to say other than we had a room on the first floor overlooking the building which houses law...
