“Beautiful Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

Stayed at the Aria 11/10/2013 It only looks small from the outside.
Reception staff were very pleasant and showed me round the hotels facilities which include a small gym, sauna, a steam room and a private cinema. There is a concierge that will book tickets and reserve a restaurant for you.
It has a music and DVD library which can be used in either the private cinema or your room should you wish.
Breakfast was a relaxed buffet style or a la carte. Free afternoon tea and cakes at 4pm.
The room which I booked was a junior suite, this was exceptionally clean as was the whole of the hotel.
All staff were really helpful polite and eager to please.
Staying there gives you free access using your room key to the Vrtba gardens a UNESCO world heritage site.
It also has a roof dining area but this was closed to dining due to the season but access allowed as a viewpoint.

Ideally placed 15 mins uphill walk to the castle and 10 mins walk to Charles Bridge.

An excellent hotel, very clean with pleasant staff.

the breakfast were run by some lovely ladies Julie, Ivana and the others who provided a relaxed and efficient service. However, on our last day a manager arrived and started to make them work faster which resulted in us being given the eggs course whilst we were still eating fruit etc, this happened to several couples and stopped the breakfast from being a relaxed affair. All I say is leave it to the ladies, they are far more than capable of serving guests in a thoughtful and relaxed manner as they had been doing all week.

We had a very nice three nights stay in three Deluxe rooms, which were comfortable, roomy, well-appointed and in good taste, with WIFI and PC functioning well. Our party also included two children.
My favorite aspect of the hotel is the elegant and tastefully designed public areas, full of original art work. This makes having breakfast, tea or having dinner at the Coda restaurant a very pleasant experience. I must also add the access to the beautiful Vrtbovska Baroque garden, which seems like part of the hotel. Unfortunately, the weather did not permit sitting at the terrace restaurant.
The Charles Bridge is very near as is the Castle, and Petrin hill (with #22 Tram). In my opinion, the main advantage as far as the location is concerned is the hotel being in the picturesque Mala Strana quarter where just wandering randomly in any direction is a rewarding experience.
I must conclude by complementing the very friendly, accommodating and efficient staff, always smiling. Their very prompt reply to Emails is also something worth mentioning.
There is however some room for improvement as far as room tidiness is concerned as befitting a five star hotel. More attention to details in arranging the rooms should be given,, like replacing used drinking glasses and used wine glasses.

My three daughters and I stayed at this hotel and loved it. It was so beautiful and the service was outstanding. It is an elegant hotel with attention to detail. The Gardens in the back are lovely to wander in. The free video library was a huge plus. Every morning the breakfast was incredible with very good service. Every detail was five star at this place. We had two rooms and they went out of their way to place us together in a special way. We splurged and had dinner on the rooftop which was worth the extra price due to the views and the amazing ambience. The service again was so attentive. I loved the area so close to the castle, transit, the bridge. We stayed a few nights by the Old Town Square and a few nights here and I think this was the best! I can't wait to return to this beautiful hotel!

Room Tip: Ask to look at a few rooms, they are all so different.

We've just returned from an incredible 12 day stay in Prague. What an cultured and romantic city. As much as we LOVED the city, our hotel - the ARIA - was one of the very best hotels we've ever stayed in. It is in the most perfect location - just minutes from the famed Charles Bridge and a couple of minutes to the Metro, in which we quickly became acclimated. (Why pay a $20-$30 cab fare, when you can purchase a metro ticket for little more than $1, and get to your destination faster.) Back to Prague's gem, the Aria Hotel. While the room is average in size, it is well appointed, with a computer in every room, and Apple TV. The hotel employees are very friendly, and they make sure your stay is a GREAT experience. The breakfast that was served daily is just about as good as anything gets. You name it - they'll have it - smoked salmon and trout, a super variety of cheeses and meats, the best pate I've ever tasted, fresh fruit and juices, pastries to die for, and coffee done any way you like, tea, milk, etc. The design and the decor of the hotel is very smart, and it is connected to a Unesco World Heritage Garden that is not to be missed. Can you tell we were smitten with the ARIA? The one thing we regret is that the rooftop restaurant was not open while we were there - it was simply too cool outside to sit and enjoy the incredible views.

.Beautiful hotel with a music theme throughout.
checked into our hotel and they gave us a quick tour. Our room has many modern conveniences such as a computer, dvd/cd player (with a library downstairs to borrow from), Apple TV box, and iPod docking station. WiFi was also available in room to use with your own devices. And it has other nice touches like bathrobes, slippers and a plate of fruit and truffles!
Very nice breakfast included - they will make eggs any way you wish and there is a good variety of bread, pastries freshly cut fruit, meats, cheeses, yogurts, etc.
We enjoyed tea and desserts between 4-5pm.
The hotel has private to the Vrbotska gardens which were very beautiful.

The top of the garden has a great view of the Mala Strana area of Prague. Dinner at the hotel's rooftop restaurant Coda was a very nice experience as well. The duck was excellent as was their selection of Czech wines.

Room Tip: For $35 euros the hotel will pick you up from the airport in their black Mercedes Benz sedan. Che...

My family of four (two kids ages 10 and 13) stayed here for two nights in July. It was a wonderful hotel and we would happily return.

The hotel is centrally located on a quiet street between the Charles Bridge and the castle - we walked all over Prague without any problems. Our room had two full beds and a good-sized sitting area, with a modern bathroom. The rooms are plush and comfortable and very well sound-proofed from outside noise. Thick towels, comfy bed, great water pressure, and free wifi in the room made our stay easy.

Hotel Aria is a music-themed hotel. In addition to the decor, the hotel has a free music library and a music "concierge". You can browse all types of music and take CDs back to the rooms, which feature hi-end music systems.

There is a beautiful rooftop deck/restaurant with lovely views. The hotel staff was so incredibly nice - even though it was late and dinner service had ended, they let our family sit outside and enjoy some drinks. They even brought blankets for all of us to protect us from the slightly chilly night air. What a wonderful memory!

The breakfast buffet is hearty and served in a lovely dining area.

Overall, a wonderful stay. We hope to return to this unique hotel with the very friendly, warm staff!

You do not have to be a connoisseur of music to appreciate the Aria hotel. It is a terrific place to stay in Prague, well located for walking or taking the tram. The staff is absolutely first-rate, friendly, efficient and very professional. The hotel has extraordinary terraced gardens in the back, a wonderful rooftop terrace, an excellent restaurant and comfortable rooms with special sound systems. We love Prague and the Aria hotel.

Dear Guest,

thank you very much for a great feedback ! I will certainly share your comments with all staff memebers.
Vrtbovska Garden located in the back of the hotel is indeed a fascinating place and also the oldest Baroque Garden in Prague.
We truly believe to be able to accommodate you whenever your travels takes you to Prague again.

Best regards
