“great hotel in a perfect location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

This place is great value! We booked their shuttle taxi from the airport at a very reasonable 30 EUR (paid in EUR or crowns) and were led to our room, which turned out to be a huge suite, with monster-sized bed, view of the square, windows on two sides, huge fireplace, sitting room with two sofa's, and a kitchen! Just over 100 EUR/night!
Staff are multilingual, friendly and very helpful. I could not fault them.

The breakfast involves leaving the hotel to reach the restaurant below, and lots of stairs down to the 15th century cellar restaurant. May not be good for folk with limited mobility. The orange juice provided is quite dreadful, but for a small charge, freshly-squeezed is available. Prosecco can also be bought for a deluxe breakfast.

Overall and extremely good stay, and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone. Great...

This hotel was in the best location you can find in Prague (in the Tyn courtyard right next to Old Town Square). The Hotel is beautiful and offers wi-fi and breakfast. The staff was helpful and the service from our experience was very good. I personally did not sleep well on the bed and the courtyard could be a little noisy at night. The bathroom did not have a stand-up shower, but for a few nights, it wasn't a problem. The hotel was a very good value and in Old Town Prague where the streets can be very confusing, having a hotel right by one of the biggest landmarks made it very easy to find our way back from almost anywhere in the city. I'd recommend this hotel based on the location and for anyone looking for more of a boutique type hotel.

Room Tip: You may be better off choosing a room that does not overlook Tyn courtyard as the nightlife in the n...

We spent 2 nights here last weekend at the start of the Xmas markets.

Hotel is great value for money, location was excellent and rooms were nice and big.

Breakfast was great in the morning with plenty of choice.

We had 2 rooms and only downside was our room was overlooking a side street which was quite noisy on both nights. Other family members were overlooking the courtyard and never heard a sound.

Overall a great stay and we'd definatley return but would request a different room.

Stayed here 4 nights; Location is superb, just a few minutes walk from old town square; room was lovely, enormous and very clean; staff all very helpful; its a bit of a shame you have to go around the corner to the restaurant to get your breakfast; it only takes a few minutes but it is a bit odd; however it is a lovely breakfast when you get there with lots of choice; the scrambled eggs need scrambling a bit longer (and one morning there was a strange green tinge to the eggs so don't know what that was about) and someone really ought to suggest that the woman at breakfast try smiling; all in all it is a lovely hotel and would stay there again if we went back to Prague ... the best restaurant nearby, if and when you have had enough czech cuisine, was the Thai called Erawan which is just round the corner and the Indian Jewel which is next door; wouldn't bother with the restaurant underneath the Hotel, its just not up to the standard of all the other many choices you have;

Room Tip: ask for a quiet room away from the Chapeau Rouge Bar... throwing out time is about 4am and its very...

Nice place, nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms. I'd recommend sticking with rooms that are facing the interior courtyard for sure, plenty of noise to be had on the main street. We actually purchased a "deluxe" room which all seemed to be in the other building facing the main street, but ended up choosing a regular room in the interior court yard. Ask to see a few before settling in. Breakfast, meh, but there are lots of places close by to branch out for morning coffee.

Room Tip: Not above the restaurant and not on the outside face!

such a lovely place, we had a wonderful view, clean, warm rooms and good food. free wifi, plenty of hot water. the staff were very helpful and spoke great english. the breakfast was nice but the staff could have helped out a little-the toaster was a bit tricky. also with regard the staff, we asked for a pillow during the night (about 9 or 10 pm) and were told it would have to wait until the morning. it doesnt appear very wheelchair friendly and the lift is minuscule! its a 2 minute walk to the old square and a lovely walk to the castle. its a half an hour drive from the airport (which was organised by the hotel and cost €30)

We stayed in Hotel Metamorphis for a weekend, and whilst its not your conventional hotel it was definitely somewhere I would go back to. The location is almost on Old Town Square, the views from the quaint bedroom windows are amazing, especially at night. The hotel itself is divided into two hotels (the other is Metamorphis Excellent), with a restaurant in between. Breakfast was lovely, continental. The rooms were warm and spacious. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel have their own taxi driver to take you to and from the airport, there is a cost but its well worth it. Highly recommend this hotel. Only bad thing to say is that in a triple room the bed is a fold out couch and not very comfortable.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top floor facing the Old Town Square for the best views.
