We stayed at Hotel 16 at end of December for our first trip to Prague. We had such a wonderful experience in Prague and Hotel 16 really added to our great time. All the staff were wonderful and went out of their way to help us with what every we needed.

Adam gave us a great itinerary to follow for our first outing in the city. Make sure you follow his suggestions!!! They were GREAT!

The hotel is NOT in the center of the old town, but it didn't really matter. We took trams to the major sites in the morning and still walked back from the old town at night. Rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was good.

We look forward to a future stay with Hotel 16!

We've been at this hotel from Dec 30 2012 till Jan 3 2013 - and this was a very good experience.
Hotel located in a quiet area, but you can get to the city centre in like 10 minutes, the closest subway station (I.P. Pavlova) is like 5 minutes far from the hotel.
The price of the stay was not cheap at all - but this is common practice for such hotels located at the city centre for New Year holidays.
The staff was very helpful and polite, they were glad to help us - either it was help with directions, or a cup of tea for our friends who visited us at the hotel.
One thing we missed was a trash can near the hotel - since we're smokers, and smoking is prohibited in the hotel itself.
Overall experience was excellent though, we will use that hotel for our future trips to Prague, and will recommend it to our friends.

Needed to find a place for one night at the last minute and followed Rick Steve's recommendation for this place. So happy we found it (thank you Rick!). So sad to leave after one night. Charming place but has been modernized - comfortable rooms, elevator access, nice breakfast, great staff, quiet location yet good access to public transport and all the sights. Traveled w parents who need things like A/C, elevators, private baths, and we were all so impressed. It's been months since we stayed and yet we still talk about how amazing our experience was at hotel 16!

We stayed, as a family with two children, at Hotel 16, and truly enjoyed every bit of our stay! Don't get influenced by this hotel on outside looks or locality... from the time you enter this place to the time you check-out, be assured of some really amazing personal, yet professional service by their Hotel staff!!! You will really feel like home, maybe even at home, you may not get such "beyond expectation" service! :) Mr. Adam and all the hotel staff are extremely nice and help you with whatever you need either for your stay at their place or in experiencing Prague. The location of this hotel is a really nice walk to the nearest Metro/Tram stops, so it's perfect location with this level of hospitality make Hotel 16 a really great place to stay in Prague!!!
