“Propper hotel were you can hardlet do anything wrong”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2012

On the occasion of a meeting I stood 3 nights with the Andel.s. This hotel is not located in the very city center but you may walk some 30 min or take public transportation right in front of the hotel. It is new and modern and equipped with all you like to find these days like e.g. Wifi. The rooms a clean and practical, TV provides several international programs and you have a DVD player but no radio(!). The conference rooms are completely up to date. There is a sauna and steam bath as well but I did not visit. Breakfirst is much but for sure not above average. All in all more convinient for business purposes but if you dont mind the litle distance to the city center you may want to stay there as well on private occasions. More than just ok.

I stayed at this location after a long week in the countryside. The staff was very efficient and the hotel clean and comfortable. The location was convenient and transportation easily obtained.
As a business traveller I appreciated the amenities the hotel offered. Internet, coffee, decent bar and a good selection of TV business channels cured me of my homesickness.
Overall I would recommend this hotel for a nice diversion from authentic Czech hotels

First of all, don't confuse Hotel Andel with Andel's Hotel. That's what I did when writting a review. It's close to the Andel Metro Station. From the Airport you can go there by Bus 100 to the final stop. There is a Metro Station from where you can go the Andel Metro Station. Already at the airport, you could by for day passes for bus and metro. From Andel's Hotel we usually took the tram to go to old town. Andel's Hotel is just over the street from a shopping center. In the shopping center, it has a food cours, bowling and a cinema. We actually booked a maisonette appartment. The first night, it was not free and we got another appartment, with living room and slepping room. As we were two adults and two kids, they but two extra beds in the living room. The next day we could move to the maisonette appartement which had two rooms, a living room, a kitchenette and some kind of "home office". I guess somewhere else you would have paid twice as much for what you get. Breakfast is also included in the price.

Good location, fair price include breakfast ( not just coffee and donuts :) ) . metro station 5 minutes walk. Rooms clean.
We been there 3 years ago for 2 nights and our memories about stay in this hotel only good.

I stayed in this hotel while visiting Prague for leisure, and the experience (3 nights) was fine. The base package is solid: rooms are clean, staff is friendly, rooms are spacious: 4 stars experience per se. Location was close to the place that I had to visit, so I can't judge too much. But generally, getting to center was fast and easy. Also, there's department store nearby.

It looks like they are striving to more, though, but don't quite get there... Rooms are cleaned, but a dirty wine glass stayed comfortably on the table. The welcome package for club reservation included bathrobe, drink and turndown service -- of which turndown wasn't performed. There's internet -- but only wired. ... and more.

Bottom line -- solid place, nothing less, but nothing more.

We stayed in this hotel while on a Trafalgar Tour of Eastern Europe. I'm not sure what the pricing would have been like because of this. It is a block from a LRT line that will take you into the center of Prague, but it is not close enough to walk there. Cabs are relatively inexpensive as well. Expect uncomfortably hot rooms in warm weather - A/C does not seem to be the same in Europe as it is in North America. We stayed in a suite that was very nice, with kitchen facilities, flat screen TV's, both shower and bath facilities etc. I would probably not stay here again as I prefer to be within walking distance of the sites I plan on seeing whenever possible. Make sure you see Prague at night and have a few inexpensive beers.
