My girlfriend and I visited this hotel for 3 nights this April. We loved Prague and couldn't fault the city but the hotel just dampened our visit slightly.
When you arrive you have to put a €50 deposit down in case you use the minibar which is a bit sneaky as they don't notify this before you stay. Also there is a swimming pool at the hotel which you will pay €15 to use for one day also, again a hefty extra cost. We payed this and then when upstairs to be told we only had an hour to use the pool before it was closed for child swimming lessons, my something reception told us.
The staff are very short and. Wry brash, don't seem happy to help you unless you don't give them a choice, for example you can't check in early even if you request an earlier check in as apparently they do t do these. Housekeeping standards aren't great either, rooms are dressed up during you stay, ours was dressed up with only one towel and two glasses, one of which was cracked all down the side. There just seemed to be a lack of attention to detail that you would expect with a 4* hotel. Breakfast was good however, with a really great choice. Hotel just left me deflated after my visit.

The service from the restaurant staff was terrible, I felt that I was ignored over preference of different guests almost all the time.
The staff in the cafe didn't seem to have extensive knowledge of facilities and they weren't exactly friendly, we were told to go to a different restaurant outside of the hotel only to find that after walking around for 40 minutes the cafe on the ground floor was still able to offer me snacks.
The air conditioning in the room was dreadful. Not only was it insanely loud which made it very difficult to sleep at night with it on, it seemed to make no difference to the temperature of the room anyway.
Wi-fi barely worked in many areas of the hotel. Couldn't get access to it in the restaurant or lift and it was poor in the room.

Just returned from a three night stay at the Panorama Hotel. The hotel is away from the centre of Prague but is 5 minutes away from the metro, so getting about was very easy. The hotel was very spacious, clean and had great facilities. The staff were excellent. We arrived about 11:45am so didn't expect our room to be ready but they allocated a room straight away. We had a lovely delux room on the 16th floor over looking the city. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and when we returned to our room later in the afternoon there was a bottle of champagne and a dish of delicious strawberry's compliment of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, great choice and lots of it. Had a meal in the restaurant on two nights. Service and food very good and not that expensive for a hotel.
There is a very good shopping centre just near the metro station. You can buy your metro tickets from the hotel reception they are 110 crowns per day ( we used the metro for three days and nobody checked the tickets). There is a leisure suite with a small swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym which is worth a visit. Free Wifi.
Would defiantly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a high floor overlooking the city

Panorama Hotel was the best choice for 6 nights in Prague. Staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are comfy.Wi-fi works perfectly. The hotel is just near Pankrac metro station. From here to the old's town center, by metro, there are maximum 20 minutes with all the changing metro lines. I would definitely chose Panorama Hotel again.

Room Tip: Excellent free wi-fi

Was visiting Prague for couple of days and stayed at the Panorama. The staff at the hotel was absolute kindly and I was overwhelmed by the excellent service and the kind behavior of the entire crew. Although tHe hotel is not the newest everything from lobby to room, restaurant to recreation was in very good shape and all was functional. I did left the hotel impressed and can only recommend to give the hotel a try and experience a perfect stay.

We went to Panorama Hotel for a long weekend in Prague a couple of weeks ago. The hotel is quite far from the city centre (we knew that) in what looks like a business centre but there are metro stops and tram stops very closeby so it is easy to go to the town centre. The room was big and clean but we had a problem with the room key and had to call the doorman several times to enter the room. The swimming pool is a bit small but clean and with a nice view on the city. Sauna and steam room are great and clean. Breakfast choice was great. Room service was very good too but a bit long. Food and drinks in the restaurant are largely overpriced for Prague We also had booked early check-in but the room was not ready so we had to wait in the hotel lounge for 40 minutes. Overall, this is a good hotel, more for business trip than romantic trip I would say. It would say it is more a 3 star than a 4 star hotel though.
