“Perfect!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

Stayed here from the 18th of October through the 21st with my sister. Super affordable, super clean, super friendly, great location, great staff. We walked everywhere, LITERALLY. we did not take a cab once. The breakfast was DELICIOUS, so many choices and so fresh. The hotel is small and quaint and the staff is very personable and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, thank you for making our stay so wonderful, my sister and I are always talking about what an amazing trip we had.

The Green Garden Hotel is just a short walk from the I.P Pavlova metro stop in Prague. From here you can be in the old town in around ten minutes. It's also around a ten minute walk to Wenceslas Square if that tickles your fancy but quite frankly it's rather ordinary and you'd have more fun just wandering around in the old town.
The international train station is only a couple of stops away too so you can easily continue your tour down to Vienna once you've sampled all the delights that Prague has to offer.
The hotel is clean, quiet and very comfortable. Large beds, individual duvets and spotless rooms. The safe is operated by your finger print and the wifi in the room is completely free. There's also tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast is plentiful and you can have fruit, cereal, bacon, eggs, toast and much much more - you will not go hungry!
Staff are fantastic. Speaking perfect English especially Andrea who was always very helpful.
I highly recommend this hotel...

For $90.00 per night, I was not expecting the Ritz. What I found was a pleasant, quiet hotel. My room, though smallish, was recently redone and clean as a whistle, as was the bath. All furnishings were brand new. Breakfast was extensive and well prepared. Staff was helpful almost to a fault. Excellent value for the money.

We enjoyed this hotel, we were very well received. The staff is great and especially the lindomar taught us how to walk in Prague. Congratulations to the Manager to have special people on your team like this. We will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

It took a bit of searching to find this hotel from the airport since we didn't take a taxi but once we arrived and settled down it was a good location to discover Prague. Located between two one way streets, the Legerova and Sokolska, it's a short 10 minute walk to the I.P. Pavlova metro station that you can take into town or better yet just walk an additional 5-10 minutes to Wenceslas Square which is the conduit to the Old Town. I would recommend getting a room on the upper floors since the two streets are very busy and can generate a lot of noise at rush hour. After saying that I must say that the windows did a good job in keeping the noise out since we hardly heard anything from the 4th floor. It was a fair size room decorated with antique furniture and had a proper luggage rack and closet. The washroom was roomy and had a good shower but had a ledge that accumulated water instead of a soap holder. The beds had puffy comforters and the room also had a working HVAC system that added heat when it got a little chilly in April. Breakfast was good and it never got so busy in there that you had to fight for the food as in some hotels. The hotel also provided a shuttle back to the airport for 700 kc which is a fair value. All in all I would recommend this hotel as long as you don't mind a bit of walking.

Room Tip: Get a room on the upper floors.

This nice hotel was clean and comfortable just a ten minute walk to the I.P. Pavlova metro- station and fifteen minutes walk to Wenceslas square, the centre.
My husband really enjoyed breakfast, egg on toast with bacon.
We had dinner one evening at the restaurant in the hotel and it was very nice and not too pricey.
We were on the 5th floor and had a lovey view. The room was clean comfortable and quiet. Pleasant stay, would recommend.

I stayed here for five nights in mid-April, for around $100 per night. My room was on the top floor on the front side, so I had a view of Prague castle in the distance. The view from the back side of the hotel or lower floors would just be of other nearby buildings. The room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom as well. Housekeeping did a good job. You can book tours and taxis from the front desk. There was a very good selection of food to choose from each morning at breakfast, and reasonably priced drinks in the bar each evening. Old town square is within walking distance. The castle is a bit further, as it's on the other side of the river. There is a tram stop just a couple of blocks from the hotel, and it will take you to the back side of the castle for just a couple of dollars, and then after touring the castle you can walk back (downhill) along the main drag of tourist shops and then cross over the Charles Bridge and on to old town square or back to the hotel. The hotel sits between two fairly busy streets, but I never noticed any noise at night, and the neighborhood seemed safe. There are restaurants, convenience stores, and a bakery nearby. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague, as long as they don't mind a little bit of walking each day to get to and from the tourist areas.
