I would rate it as excellent if it was 1 star hotel. I would rate it as average if it was 2 stars hotel. But if it's so dishonest that claims to be 3 stars - I can rate it as very poor only.
Be aware - information about amenities is completely MISLEADING!!! If you book it - know what to expect.
Expedia.com states that this hotel offers:
Airport transportation (surcharge) - WRONG! They can call a taxi for you only
Babysitting or childcare - WRONG! Hotel doesn't offer it
Bar/lounge - there is no bar or restaurant on site at all
Cell phone/mobile rental - there is no such service.
Coffee in lobby - coffee machine ( for surcharge).
Computer rental - one computer in the lobby.
Concierge services - no such service.
Currency exchange - no such service.
Elevator/lift - to 3-rd floor only
Laundry facilities - not on еру site at all.
Microwave in lobby - There is NO microwave for use.
Television in lobby - for a reception clerk only
Free Wi-Fi - there was no wi-fi at all
Daily housekeeping - only to 2 PM and not for every room.
Welcome amenities - not provided at all.
Satellite television service - no even single local channel.
Buffet breakfasts are available for a surcharge and served each morning - breakfast in NOT offered in the hotel at all. You are just offered to buy breakfast at other hotel.
We stayed in the hotel for 6 days - bed sheets were not changed even once! Towels (awful condition) changed in a strange manner. One day I put my used towel on the floor in the morning - by the time I returned to the hotel - my used towel was back on the rack as a new one.
At the time we checked in the room was dirty (dust everywhere, dirt floor) and even I requested cleaning in written - no one cleaned our room for 6 days. Cleaning in the hotel understanding means to empty waste baskets and change towels (sometimes). No dusting, no floor cleaning, nothing.
Permanent problem with hot water. You get it for 30 seconds- then ice cold water and you have to wait for 3-5 minutes to get hot water again. Such a pleasure to stay soapy in the cold bathroom and wait for hot water! I complained about this problem and was told that it's because the hotel is very old and nothing they can do about that.
There is no door between the room and the bathroom, only thin sliding screen.
There is no hair dryer in the room.
There is no iron in the hotel at all!!!!!!!!!! I didn't expect it to be in every room, but at least one per hotel must be present. No way. So, do not take any clothes that require ironing with you.
Elevator. Get you nose ready - smell is really awful. Works very strange. It goes to 3rd floor only, then you have to climb. And to get it work you have to have elevator key (one per room only) and if one person in the room you can't get to your room at all, because stairway is closed and elevator doesn't work without key. You have to ask a receptionist to go with you to the elevator.
Very noisy street. Ask for a room with "garden view", it's quiet.
There is no air conditioner or fan in the room. Very hot and uncomfortable.
What was good?
1) Close to the public transportation
2) Really clean, good quality, brand new bed sheets.
3) Friendly staff.
4) Low price

So, why to lie? Just to get so many frustrations and anger??? Be honest, advertise this hotel as it is.
If you don't offer a breakfast in the hotel (what is absolutely strange, because the hotel is advertised as bed and breakfast) - have mini fridges in the room, 1 microwave, 1 toaster and 1 cattle in the lobby (at least!) that people could get some breakfast in the morning. It doesn't cost you too much, but will solve a big problem.
You offer satellite TV - yes, but why do you eliminate all Czech channel - we couldn't check even daily weather? 2 Arabic channels, 6 French, 2 English and ~100 German. That's it. Looks very strange and not patriotic....
When I see that hotel offers "Welcome amenities" I expect to get some soap, shampoo, lotion, shower cup etc. What you provide- just one bottle of liquid soap for every need.
Please, be honest and remove at least one star, give appropriate description. You will not lose clients, because there are a lot of budget travelers. But people have the right to know what to expect.

We sincerely apologize for the misleading information reported on the booking portal you used to make your reservation. We have already required the changes according to the exact services of hotel.
For all future guests or simply readers of this review I feel in duty to list what the Hotel Venezia offers. The hotel do not offer the breakfast service, it has the elevator which works not to the last floor - historical building. We offer ariport transfer with a our limousine service partner on request, or normal taxi according to guests´preference, in the lobby area there is an automatic machine for warm beverages (not free). We offer childcare and babysitting on request and concierge services. There is no TV in the lobby, not microwave for free use, no currency exchange service. Wi-fi is not available, a computer with internet connection is available free of charge for all guests. Housekeeping is on a daily base. Each room has TV with both local and foreign channel. No complimentary toiletries or welcome amenities. Hairdryer is available on request at the front desk. For any assistance the reception is 24/7 at guests´disposal to help you to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
