“Fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in May 2013

On arrival the very friendly receptionist offered us a welcoming drink. A good start !

This is a small luxurious hotel located in the lovely old " little town " district of Prague. It is a charming area with narrow cobblestone streets, beautiful old houses and very little traffic. Best of all no ugly graffiti ( unlike poor Vilnius). The area is not overrun with tourists as central Prague is, but it is still only a short walk to the Charles Bridge and the city centre. A great location from which to explore the many delights of Prague.

Our room was spacious and well appointed in a lovely old European style. The bathroom was large and modern. Everything very clean. Good comfortable bed. The room was air-conditioned. An excellent room.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of Zuzanna at the reception desk. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was so welcoming and friendly. She even managed to get us tickets to the opera at short notice. Thank you Zuzanna !

We had breakfast each day in the hotel restaurant and it was very good. We also had dinner once in the hotel restaurant and once in the hotel's garden restaurant across the street from the hotel and on both occasions it was excellent.

There are plenty of very nice restaurants around the hotel. We especially liked the Cafe de Paris.

Prague is a delightful city with much to see and enjoy. We recommend a visit to the Modern Art Museum and a concert in Smetana Hall. There is also a very moving exhibition dedicated to the 7 men who were killed after they had assassinated the Nazi leader Heydrich in Prague in 1942, in a small museum in the Orthodox Church.

Prague is a wonderful city and this is a fabulous hotel. Highly recommended.

The Nosticova is a destination onto itself. Beautifully appointed rooms super comfortable and the staff is absolutely amazing. They go out of their way to be nice and accommodating and are genuine in their desire to help you. My family which includes 2 young adults stayed here 4 nights. We booked 2 deluxe rooms and got a delightful surprise when they gave us 2 rooms situated on top floor that were connected by a small living and dining area and full kitchen. We felt as though we had rented a townhouse for the week, very spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are huge and very clean. Breakfast is included and you won't run out of things to eat. The afternoon cocktails are nice after a day of walking around. The only negative is location if you don't want to be walking all the time and prefer to stay where all the action is. Although it's just a short 15 minute walk across the bridge. Other than that it's perfect. You also get access to the Grand Spa which is wonderful.

Room Tip: When booking 2 rooms ask for the ones that connect with a living area and include a dining and kitch...

We were really impressed by this luxury small hotel. Our suite was amazing, spacious, well-furnished and very romantic! We were very happy during our 5 day stay. It was our anniversary. The staff was very attantive to all our requests and wishes, it was really appreciated. The breakfast was rich and met all our requirements. The waiters do their best to satisfy all the guests´ wishes, very lovely.
The location is perfect, just few steps from the Charles bridge, next to the Campa park by the Vltava river, pretty romantic.
I would like to thank all the staff and the wonderful time we spent with in the hotel. It is worth staying there, expecially if you want to be sure that your special romantic stay has to be perfect!

"This is what six star sheer joy is. From the moment their driver picked us up from the station we were treated like Royalty. We have travelled all over the globe and if only we could pack this hotel and staff into our suitcases we would never stay anywhere else. Room magnificent, spotless, cosy mattress, hot long showers, great great great attention to detail, breakfast fit for a king and queen. Went to hairdresser ran out of currency, phoned hotel Viola like magic they sent around a staff member with the cash I needed. I heard Prague was like fairy land, but this hotel has turned this Cinderella into a Princess. Cannot stop smiling here THANK YOU for making our Christmas trip to Prague the most magical time of our lives. Stay anywhere else at your Peril."read less

We stayed in the hotel over the weekend in December and enjoyed every second of it from start to finish. On arrival our bag were taken from the car and placed in reception where we checked in and given a map of Prague. we were then shown to our room by the concierge. Complimentary mulled wine and tapas was provided before we headed out to explore the city. The rooms were well furnished and warm with excellent views.

I cannot praise the quality of the hotel or its staff highly enough and will definitely be returning here on my next visit.
