“CAN'T FAULT IT !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

We loved this hotel. We paid extra for a superior room which was in fact a suite. The staff are wonderful and speak absolutely perfect English; they are so very very helpful too. Lots of extra nice touches like chocolates, fruit and wine left in the room. We ate twice in the restaurant which was very good and received 15% discount on the price, I would highly recommend the rabbit.
Hotel is in a perfect location right on the Charles Bridge next to the tower that you can go up for free as you are staying there.
The Pod Vezi is the best city hotel I have ever stayed in.

I reiterate the other very positive reviews. The hotel is very well located right next to the Charles Bridge but on the quieter side of the river, although still with several bars, restaurants and shops nearby. It is very easy to walk to all the main attractions. Pod Vezi comprises the main hotel and a dependence building very close by, although not adjoining. Both the main hotel and dependence are in typical Prague period buildings. The main hotel is small with just a modest reception, indoor restaurant, (which also serves breakfast) and a further covered outdoor part to the restaurant. The dependence is an adjacent building across a small square and has a Creperie on the ground floor. We stayed in the dependence in a superior room, (part of a standard Easyjet package). The room, which was at the front of the hotel, was a decent size, and nicely modernized although still retaining some character.

The staff at the hotel were the highlight, they were all delightful and genuinely eager to help with any queries. The staff actually appeared to enjoy working at the hotel!

Breakfast was a decent buffet range which changed daily. The self service fresh orange juicer was the highlight!

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to Prague and this hotel is an excellent choice for a very comfortable stay at a modest cost and is a nice balance of being close to all attractions without being located in the frantically touristy Old Town area..

Room Tip: don't worry about being in the dependence building, all the other benefits of this hotel out wei...

The hotel was perfectly located right by the Charles Bridge but on the quieter side which we preferred. Housed in two historic buildings, we were in the Dependence annexe, a short walk across the courtyard. Delightful friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. Each day there was a lovely surprise in the room, fruit platter, homemade biscuits. Breakfast was a very good buffet with a very popular fresh orange juicer so you could press your own orange juice. Overall a lovely smaller, individual hotel with character and very good value.

Room Tip: Rooms in the the Dependence building across the road are lovely, but if you don't want to walk a...

A delightful boutique hotel tucked away beside the Charles Bridge in the Mala Strana. We will definitely be returning. We had a beautiful room in the dépendance, so don't be put off by not being in the main building. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Also the restaurant is very good (we dined there twice in three evenings). The crêperie next door to the dépendance was the only disappointment - rather dull and ordinary in a place that is otherwise neither of those things.

Room Tip: Don't be put off if they only have rooms in the dépendance!

This is a very charming hotel at the west side end of Charles Bridge. The room was very comfortable and, considering its location, very quiet. Service was excellent, very friendly and very helpful. The rates were very reasonable too, as was the hotel restaurant.
The location right next to Charles Bridge made the whole city very accessible on foot.
Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Rooms in the dependence are quieter

Stayed at this hotel during Easter for 3 nights. Check in was very quick and pleasant .We were given tips about money saving ideas and cautions about rip-offs in Prague. The room was good size and spotless. Breakfasts were good. The location is unbeatable in Prague, right at the end of the Charles Bridge. The staff at this hotel are the friendliest and helpful we have ever come across in years of hotel stays.

We loved this totally charming hotel at the foot of the Charles Bridge in the Little Quarter. Everyday, we found little "presents" in our room,a plate of fruit, bakery cookies, a small bottle of wine. The room and bath were spacious. They have a small roof terrace with chairs where you can see Prague castle lit at night. The breakfast room/restaurant was very lovely. The staff was charming too. Treat yourself to a stay here.
