A walk in the New Town can begin from the metro station Mustek or Museum.
In Wenceslas Square I’ve admired the St. Wenceslas Monument, the National Museum, the old Hotel Europa. Very close to the National Museum (the new building) are the State Opera of Prague, and an ancient and monumental railways station.
Also, in this area you can visit Mucha Museum, housed by the Kaunitzky Palace.
In the neighborhood of Wenceslas Square is the beautiful Franciscan Garden, with an underground restaurant – U Frantiskanu.
Another walk can start from the metro station Karlovo Namesti. The Carol Square is the first step, then I’ve seen the Faust House, and the church St John on the rock, which are are very close to the Carol Square.
I continued with the National Theater, and the St Ursula church.
If you need some beer, after so much walking, the smallest brewery of Prague – U Fleku wait for you. Here you can drink an exclusive strong beer.
I enjoyed these walks very much, and I suggest you do the same.
