“A hidden jewel. Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012

This boutique hotel is nicely finished with tall ceilings and beautiful rooms. It is in a very quiet and safe location but with just a short walk to all of the sights. The staff were fantastic and were very helpful. The breakfast was amazing in a dining area where you want to linger. The history of the hotel is amazing in itself and I won't spoil this surprise but the staff will take you on a tour. Prague is a special city and this is a special hotel. We loved the place and will recommend it to friends.

Just spent three fabulous nights at the Unitas, cannot speak highly enough of this facility and it's staff. Great location, spacious rooms, friendly staff, welcoming champagne it all ads up to the place to stay in Prague.

This hotel is neatly positioned between Old and New Town areas and away from the tourist heavy streets/roads but just a few minutes walk away from both. Some very nice (non-tourist trap) restaurants along Narodni just a few minutes away from the hotel and a Tescos for supermarket supplies! The tourist tram 22 is also easily reached on foot. It is also walking distance to the Mustek and Narodni metro stations for access to the airport.

Rooms were clean, modern and well equipped. Breakfast was good as other reviewers have mentioned. The hotel has a nice DVD collection and book library for rainy days in Prague. Otherwise not a huge amount to do in the hotel itself -- it is more boutique styled.

Hotel staff were courteous but it took four attempts on three different days to three staff members before our enquiry regarding a late check out was finally answered.

Very helpful and cheerful staff. Good recommendations for dinner. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Fantastic selection for breakfast. Quiet and convenient location within walking distance to the old town center, Astronomical clock, market, and Charles Bridge. Took a tram to Prague Castle.

We had a wonderful time in Prague and staying at the Unitas was a big part of that. The rooms are spacious (comfy beds) and attractive and the staff is attentive and pleasant. I want to give particular credit to Lenke and to a young man who works on the night desk (cannot recall his name, but he wears glasses if that helps to identify him). He went above and beyond to find us an open pharmacy - not a simple task during a holiday weekend). The breakfast buffet was better than the standard fare at most hotels. We would not hesitate to book here again. The only critique would be a couple of very minor oversights by the housekeeping staff, but these were quickly corrected.

The hotel is lovely, away from the main road, opposite a police station!
Rooms are very big, nicely decorated, bathrooms are also very big with a shower over the bath.
Staff speak good English and are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a really quiet and peaceful area, it's a very good place to stay for sightseeing.
It's just a short walk up to the river and a couple of hundred yards down to Charles bridge.
Prague is a beautiful city, even though it's very touristy now. Pop across to the old town for a beer. Beautiful architecture, friendly people, it's well worth a few days in Prague and the Unitas hotel is a great place to stay.
