I stayed in this hotel on two occasions First stay 9th and 10th November booked through octopus,com cost 110 Euro total. Next stay also for two days midweek cost almost double because I booked myself over the phone. Won't do that again. Good hotel though, big breakfast and the staff were helpful. Nice room with a built in safe.

A group of us have just returned from staying in the Central hotel Prague and the only complaint we all had was the attitude of the blonde behind the bar!! Not friendly at all but we did find this with a lot of the Czech people! However the hotel is in a great location and was very clean and great value for money. We would use this hotel again in the future.

In a brilliant location, very central, very easy to find, easy to reach by bus/ metro from the Airport for just 20Krs. The room was pretty good, more than expected for just £45 per night, no complaints at all. Breakfast was absolutely excellent, with a good selection of both hot and cold food. We stayed 2 nights, and both days we did not need to eat again until mid afternoon. Bad news for the hot-dog sellers!

The lift in the lobby was exactly as previously described, and a real experience! And we were put in Room 101 (Orwell readers or fans of the UK TV series will appreciate this!). Unfortunately, we could not work out which of the blond girls was the real surly one, as all of the staff were pleasant and polite, although not exactly smily. Mind you, the way some of the guests behaved, that is hardly surprising.

Nothing to fault, fantastic value for money and we will definitely stay there again.

We found Prague to be an expensive place so this hotel to us was not cheap compared with the UK ...that said ... I would recommend this hotel to anybody.
Its central (about 10 mins walk to the main square), clean, the breakfast has food to suit all tastes from an english breakfast to cake and fruit.

The staff were always helpful and pleasant. (We stayed for 3 nights).

One drawback was no tea making facilities in the room ...which we always like

The hotel was also near the metro so the trip from the airport was EASY and only cost 20 krones

There a great little coffee bar just down the road from the hotel that does cakes for those not watching their waistline!!!

If we ever return to Prague we would stay at this hotel again
