“Good value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

I had single room. Room equipment was OK, but not up to 4 star hotel standards. Walls were a bit cobbly and without carpet the floors were cold.

Quite small TV, but sufficient and I really prefer, if there is power socket next to bed. The bedside table was at your feet because of size of the room. There was also a big cobweb above shower.

WiFi was working fine first day and the other two it wasn´t and receptionist didn´t know, how to fix it.

Positives were very good location - 5 minutes walking from Metro, tasty breakfast and very good price. Bedding was also very comfortable. Price for minibar drinks were very affordable compared to some sky high prices some hotels want for drinks in minibars.

For the value I would probably stay again.

Not far from local amenities and train station. Dont get taxi from airport to hotel cost around 750 czech (£25) for 25 mins journey. Try and get the airport bus!

To Get to The airport from the city, get on the green line on a train and go to the end of the line (has an aeroplane picture on it) and get the no. 119 bus to the airport.
Train ticket is only a few pounds then the airport bus is 40 czech each (£1.30)

Hotel is reasonable. Nice to have a fridge in the room and a minibar. Had towels and hairdryer. A very good shower. Power shower! Massive window! Only issue is noise. But if you're a tourist and there to see prague then the hotel shouldn't be an issue unless you're planning to live in the hotel.

Great breakfast choice too. Hot food. Cereals. Toast. Choice of breads. Jams. Cakes. Fruit. Juices.
Nice one aida hotel! Thanks! Also free wifi in the rooms! Bonus!

My wife and I recently visited Prague and used this hotel based on previous Tripadvisor recommendations.

Easy to find from the nearest Metro stop of Kobilisy(Red C Line on the Map).

The reception staff were warm and friendly, despite arriving early, they allowed us to store our luggage before we checked in to our room at 2 PM.

The room was very clean and well furnished with an excellent daily service of clean towels and bed makeup.Beds were super comfortable and even with an open window, the area was very quiet and good for sleeping soundly.
Tea/Coffee making facilities and a mini bar were in the room.
The key for the safe in the room was available for a 30 KR deposit-good value!

Despite there being no lift, the hotel is low rise so it wasn't a problem getting our luggage to the room.

Breakfast was very good with a wide range of hot and cold items.

Ideally placed to get into the center of Prague(10 mins by Metro) and they sell the one day(24 Hour) tickets which are the best value(110 KR) for transport as they are valid on the Metro,Buses and Trams.

They also have a good range of information available in the lobby so you can plan which tours or sights to visit-The free street map was a bonus but a little too complicated as it contained so much information.

I couldn't fault the hotel and would highly recommend it-certainly I would book again .

My boyfriend & I were on a weekend break in Prague & he booked us in here.
The receptionist 'Hynic' was VERY polite, helpful & friendly! He drew us a map to the nearest metro station (5 minute walk) and helped us out with any other directions.

The bed was the COMFIEST bed I have ever slept in in my life! Beating 5* resorts I've stayed in before! I slept like a baby every night! We had two single beds pushed together instead of a double, but it didn't really matter, they never moved away from each other.

Very clean & tidy, coffee, tv, kettle, hot shower. Maids are very friendly.

Breakfast - varied buffet, good quality, decent selection.

No lift- you have to take the stairs, but we didn't have a great deal of luggage- but be warned of this if you do!

Definitely recommended -- but don't bother buying train tickets for the underground- all throughout our trip ALL of the ticket barriers were open! Save yourself £20 & just wing it!

My freinds and I stayed at the hotel on 10thnov for 3 nights, the hotel is a little far out of town but the tram and metro are just up the hill a five minute walk away. We arrived approx 10pm and the receptionist was very helpful, (he lookes like the pub landlord) he gave us a map and explained where the nearest pub was, (just around the corner up the hill on the right) open till 11pm then there is another one close by who serve till 2. The food in the first pub is very nice and cheap, dont know about the 2nd one as we didnt eat there. There are lots of nice bars and restaurants . We also booked our 6-10 boat cruise tour at the hotel which was a lovely experience, the driver picked you up from the hotel and gave you a tour of the town and then took you to the boat, where there is a a buffet on board. Beautiful buildings which look resplendant at night all lit up. My freind is really good at orientering so our trips out were excellent on the metro and bus. Bus number 3 or 17 take you to the town and the metro stop is called kaplinsky. you can buy the tickets from the hotel at 100 czech corona per 24 hrs travel on any transport. We had a fantastic trip to Prague and cant wait to return. would highly recommend this Fabulous City.

On arriving at the Hotel at approx 22.00 we were greeted by a very helpful receptionist, he checked us in promptly and gave us a map of the surrounding area. There are a couple of bars within walking distance one open til 11pm one til 2am both adequate for a late night drink. The rooms where comfortable, warm and clean, the shower was hot. There was a mini bar in the room. The Hotel itself was clean and staff where friendly. The breakfast is adequate a warm buffet style plus a continental selection. The hotel is situated out of town and on arriving you would think its isolated up a big hill but the main train station and tram stops are situated approx 5 minutes walk away. (Purchase a transport ticket from hotel 110CZK for 24 hrs) Take tram no 3 to the old town or take the red line train towards Haje to get into town, get off at Florenc and take the yellow line for 3 stops and you arrive in the old town. Trains are regular. A taxi back at night from Old Town to hotel cost 200CZK. Pre booked taxi from airport 550 CZK each way. The hotel will organise and book any trips/excursions you would like to do. I recommend the dinner cruise, transport picks you up from hotel takes you on a 45 minutes excursion of the city before taking you to the boat for a 3 hour cruise 19.00-22.00. On board the cruise you still have the assistance of the tour guide, free drink on arrival, hot & cold buffet and waiter service for the rest of the evening for drinks. This cost 1390 CZK and well worth it. Transport returns you then to the hotel if you wish. All in all for the price we paid for the 3 night city break Hotel Aida was well worth it.
