“Magical place that never gets old”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Old Town is beautiful part of Prague filled with visitors from all around the world. Old buildings, churches blended with great restaurants and their different cuisines. Old Town Square, Clock Tower, St. Nikolaus Church, Jan Hus Statue, little streets with this great atmosphere that never leaves. Through the year there are seasonal markets (Christmas Market, Easter Market, Summer Events and much more). Walk! Do not use any form of transportation in downtown. Prague is the Capital and it is big but the historical part is so beautiful that you don't want to miss any of it. Get yourself some treat in Old Town and soak the atmosphere, you can walk any direction (Vltava river, Parizska Street, shopping mall at Namesti Republiky or Vaclavske Sq.) and you will see beauty. What you probably wont see is typical Czech citizens, but for City lovers this is the place to be. History, food, beer, clubs, party, art, Prague and Old Town especially is got it all! I love that place and no matter how many times I have been there and how much time I have spent there, I will be coming back. It is so beautiful that I got married in St. Nicolas Church <3

“Best part of Prag”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Take the subway to any stop in "old town" get off and start your own private tour. You don't really need a guided tour, because there is way too much to see and if you don't just do it yourself you probably will see too little of too much to be able to remember what you saw. Get a map from your hotel, and spend a few Crowns on a guide book, and read thru it in the evening. You will thank yourself over and over. There are so many places to go it is unbelievable.

“Everything lives here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

Everything is beautiful! Walk across all the little streets, see the churches, the lovely random buildings, the concert halls, the little shops (jewellery is overpriced. Little bit a negotiation gets you to around 50% of the original price) and little food shops gives you the real Prague experience. I can do this over and over again! Love it!

The atmosphere was awesome. When the Tyn Church was illuminated at night it was like a magical fairy tale!

If you know the history of Prague, you can appreciate the city & especially the old town a lot more. It is beautiful, viby, amazing. Good shopping at good prices, interesting food & lots of entertainment.
